I received this product free in exchange for my honest review. Let me start off by saying, I have very oily hair. Because of this, I was nervous to try this product, thinking it would not work well for me. I was wrong. And I am so glad that I tried it. This conditioner felt so different from any other conditioner I've used. While rinsing it from my hair, my hair felt so luxuriously silky. It felt healthy and nourished but not greasy! It left my hair so fluffy soft once it was finished drying. I am beyond pleased with the results. The smell reminds me of a pina coloda. Its very tropical. The ingredients are all great too. There are no harsh ingredients. I absolutely love this product, and I'm definitely considering purchasing it again.

My hair tends to dry out fast so I was in need of something to help lock in that moisture and keep my hair feeling soft and revived. The Maui Moisture Heal & Hydrate + Shea Butter line (specifically for dry, damaged hair) did exactly that. I love anything with shea butter so the smell is extremely enticing to me. The first ingredient is 100% aloe vera, and these products also contain shea butter, coconut oil and macadamia oil. These ingredients made my hair feel nourished and gave it that deep quench that it desperately needed. Very gentle on my hair and formulated without parabens, dyes, mineral oil, silicon, or sulfated surfactants. My hair looks and feels healthier with each use.

I absolutely love that the Maui Moisture line uses aloe juice as their first ingredient! Most hair products start with deionized and chemically treated water as their first ingredient listed. The ingredients in our hair care routines are important but often overlooked! For the past week I have been using the Maui Moisture Shampoo followed by the Maui Moisture Hair mask and finishing with the Maui Moisture Conditioner and my hair has never felt better! I try to always rinse with cold water because by doing so, it closes the pores on your scalp blocking away impurities. A cold water rinse also aids in preventing breakage and frizz, which I felt went hand in hand with this product! After rinsing all product from my hair I noticed my hairs texture was incredibly smooth and was an absolute breeze to comb through, which is extremely important if your strands are experiencing shedding. While my hair was instantly smoother,noticeably hydrated and looking much healthier with my ends appearing more defined instead of dry and damaged after using these products, It also weighed my hair down. It was full and bouncy within the first few hours of styling but by mid-day it had went completely flat. This is more than likely due to the fact I have naturally thin-fine hair along with possibly using more conditioner than I should. If you have normal-thick hair I doubt you would have this issue. Although I experienced my hair going flat throughout the day, I will continue to use these products because of the level of nourishment my hair receives each time I use it and tweak my styling while using less conditioner to avoid any flattening. I love the way this conditioner leaves my hair smelling! It smells so tropical and juicy, almost like a smoothie! It’s very nourishing & has a thick consistency. The packaging is super beautiful & high quality. Unfortunately, I wanted to love this product way more than I do. It is nourishing & thick, but is very hard to wash out of your hair. I washed my hair very thoroughly twice and it still wouldn’t come all the way out. My daughter tried both the shampoo and conditioner as well and had the same result. My hair feels nourished, but ended up looking greasy once finally dry because of how hard it is to get all the product out. I am appreciative of both Maui & Influenster for sending me these products to try, but I want to make sure my review is honest!

Despite this, the conditioner's ability to repair and deeply moisturize, coupled with its delightful scent and luxurious texture, makes it a valuable addition to my hair care routine. Using a spoon might be the workaround for this packaging challenge.
