The Maxxis Rekon is a very voluminous tyre that you can use for daily touring, eagerly shredding in the forest and AllMountain, but also manages detours into rougher terrain. The TR version with Exo sidewall protection is designed to be ridden without an inner tube with sealant, but like all TR tires, it can also be ridden with an inner tube. Two different rubber compounds are used to create a tread strip. The arrangement of the compounds plan them according to the desired properties of the tires.
