McCain Red Box Plated Roast Lamb 320g

One of the best ready made dinners by McCain for those with little time to prepare a home cooked meal. A little more of the gravy in each meal and that would have made the 5 Star.

Perfect for an easy nights dinner and value for money. Tastes great, easy instructions and tender meat. Will definitely buy again.

I like lamb for a taste change from the ubiquitous chicken offerings; however, the tiny bits of potato and the relatively small servings of peas and carrots [made less obvious by excessive gravy] make these meals somewhat expensive unless on a generous special.

Ok but not that good really. It is a bit bland and so so. The gravy is tasteless and pasty

Very tasty meal. You wouldn’t know it’s a frozen meal. Easy to microwave. On occasions we’ve had gristle in the lamb.

Disappointed. Meat tasted rubbery / chewy and the vegetables had no flavour

A nice meal, lamb tender and not excessively fatty like some roast lamb is.

I love the veggies with this meal, and they always taste fresh, but I find that compared to the other dinner meals, the Roast Lamb never seems to have much Lamb, and it just doesn't feel that I've had enough for my main meal. This meal needs to be a bit larger.

most McCain meals are good value and tasty. however, roast beef meal is not good. meat is tough and hard to chew. vegetables better
