McDavid Knee Support With Stays Black XL

This knee brace was the first one I found that helped my skiing injured knee, and I was pleased to see that McDavid still offered it when I needed a replacement. It is a good solid product, well made and durable. IT provides good support without hinges, so it is lighter and more flexible.than some braces. This one is good for walking or hiking. I also bought the version with cross straps, and that can be made tighter and more supportive. It is easy to get this one on but more difficult to get off.

I bought this brace to help support my knee, which has some nerve damage, and help me get around better. I have trouble supporting weight and making sharp movements when I play sports. I received the brace about a couple weeks ago, and have been wearing it ever since.The first day, it was uncomfortable and odd to walk in. It took a few tries before I could position it correctly. But I figured I just had to power through and break it in.The second day, I was a little more used to wearing it and I even forgot I had it on at times.By the third day, I could slide it on and forget it was even there.It's comfortable, shaped itself to my knee, and pretty lightweight. I sweat under it on hot days but it never feels wet or uncomfortable. There's less pain and less instability when I walk. I'm more comfortable moving heavy objects and excersizing more often without a fear of hurting myself. Whether it's a short walk or a workout session, I take this brace with me wherever I go.The only downside I can find about this brace is that it's a little hard to get off once I've been sweating, but for me, it's hardly an issue.The support and confidence this brace gives me for the price is phenomenal. I was a little nervous because I hadn't tried McDavid before but I'll definitely be reordering this brace once I wear my current one out.

Very comfortable knee supports. I had to order online since the store only stocks up to size L. I initially ordered XXL knee supports because the sizing chart is wrong. Excellent customer service with the replacement to quickly get me size XL. The downside of this knee support is that it can’t be put on without removing my shoe, but that’s a small trade off for supports that actually stays in place. They are very comfortable and greatly help my knee pain while playing pickleball. I will order this knee support again when these wear out.
