Starting out by saying I hated this product so much that I actually returned after using a few times and felt compelled to warn others of why it’s so terrible so they can get a better one that works for them. This Medela pumping bra is VERY tight, I’m normally a size 4/6 133 pounds 34b, it was not comfortable to wear. I have a spectra s1. My funnels were so hard to get in and out of it and on the go and I didn’t have anything to wipe them down with before taking off so milk would drip everywhere trying to wrangle them out of the holes. Also, since there is only a zipper in the front I had to whip one side around my back to get it off again making a mess. It was terrible. I finally returned saying it promoted compatability- it is very much not, and it didnt function ... MoreStarting out by saying I hated this product so much that I actually returned after using a few times and felt compelled to warn others of why it’s so terrible so they can get a better one that works for them. The nipple holes have an extra layer of fabric so everything’s covered when pump isn’t in use. There is a zipper in the front, Velcro in the back. So taking off after use is super easy. It’s adjustable to be as tight as you want it. My funnels fit and remove easily, it’s more comfortable to pump in and it actually made it easier to pump longer.Just wanted to let ya’ll know that there was a huge difference for me in brands and that the simple wishes is definitely the way to go if you’re debating it or having problems with what you’re using.

This thing was super convenient! I ended up getting one of these towards the end of my pumping journey lol and had wished I wouldn't have sat on it for so long. I'm super proud of myself for exclusively pumping for 9 months straight. Even though I got this bra thing towards the end it helped me go a little bit longer and that counts as a win in my book. So if you're debating on purchasing this just do it!! It's totally worth it!!

I purchased this expression bustier as I am currently on the start of my breastfeeding journey, I am currently inducing lactation so have to pump extremely freuquently so having the option of a bustier as opposed to a bra is much better. It's super easy to put on and take off.The sizing on the chart was perfect. Even though I have a larger chest at a 38E the medium fits me perfectly. It offers a lot of comfort and a good level of compression making sure the flanges stay firmly in place so I can go about my other activities while I pump.Paired with the Medela swing maxi pump it's the perfect partnership

Compresses breasts against flanges
23 November 2021

The concept is great however it compresses my breasts and it prevented any flow from coming out. I’m smaller chested, about 36B and I got a medium so this shouldn’t have been an issue. At first, milk was coming out but after a few drops, it stopped. I gave it a few minutes to see if milk would start flowing again however nothing came out and I had to loosen the flanges and give my breasts some space and not compressed and that’s when the milk started coming down. So much for hands free when I’m still having to hold and pull the attachments away from my chest to get any flow going.

Fits small, but good quality
16 February 2022

I bought this bra for myself after purchasing one of the Medela pumping sets. I initially followed the size chart as I am 9 months pregnant and even sized up. I ordered a medium and based on the measurements was well within the range. I could not even get the bottom of the band to get close enough to zip, it was INCREDIBLY small. I had to exchange it for a size large and even the large is super snug under the armpits. I'm happy with the purchase because I know I'll get a lot of use out of it, but I wish the size chart accurately reflected the sizing of the product. It fits small so I would recommend sizing up or trying it on in store first otherwise you'll be disappointed once you get home.

Not an upgrade
7 February 2023

I got this to replace my old pumping bra. It is very comfy but difficult to zip until you get used to it. Also the holes aren't great. The old bra you could put the flange through the front, with this you have to take the flange off the bottle pieces and put them inside the bra then reattach. It's not a huge deal breaker but once you're done it becomes difficult not to get milk all over.

Not for 'normal' Medium or larger sizing.
29 June 2022

For women who are not large chested or full figured this would be fine. There is no way this would fit the larger sizes as it states. Pre-baby I was 36DD now 38DDD and the L is too tight. While it holds the flange in place as stated, it presses too hard against the breast and when the pump is on it makes for a very uncomfortable suction on even a low setting. The sizing also restricts breathing/expansion of the chest/lungs when it’s being worn. Cuts right through the abdomen when sitting-I’m a size 12. It’s being returned unfortunately.

Superb product
25 December 2022

I had read negative reviews of this product before purchasing it so I was sceptical about how useful it would be but it’s really transformed my life! I’m now able to get on with life while expressing milk, having both hands free rather than being stuck sitting holding two bottles while I double-pump. This bustier fits perfectly and holds up well. Bear in mind that I have very small breasts (was around 34A pre-pregnancy and they aren’t much bigger now 9 weeks post-partum) so I can’t speak to how useful it is for people with large breasts.I couldn’t live without this bustier now - such a great investment. I highly, highly recommend it.

You'll hate your 2 a.m. pump
25 July 2022

This pumping bra is great for all intents a purposes, until it's 2 a.m. and you are fighting with the stupidest little hook into the even stupider little hole to be able to zip the dang bra up. The bra does what it's supposed to, holds the pump flanges in place so you can be hands free and for that I even gave it 1 star. But when you are beyond exhausted, waking up after 1 hour of sleep because your baby wouldn't go down the LAST thing you want to play is thread the needle to be able to even zip the dng bra up! Whoever designed that stupid little mechanism deserves to be slapped and charged with human indecency because this person clearly doesn't understand what it is to be a breast pumping mother beyond exhausted try to just breathe an ounce of sanity into her ... MoreThis pumping bra is great for all intents a purposes, until it's 2 a.m. and you are fighting with the stupidest little hook into the even stupider little hole to be able to zip the dang bra up. Until this delightful little error is fixed my rating will remain at a 1, because at least once I've managed to get the dang hook through the bra it does do its job of giving me the use of my hands so I can type this review.

good buy

I would buy this again. I ordered it and then read the reviews about how the sizing runs way small so I actually added two different ones to my Amazon cart and then figured I’ll wait until it gets here to see if I agree. It just came and I think it runs according to your true size. I do think they should make bigger ones however I think the large was true to size. I normally am about 163lbs and wear a 34DD I’ve gained almost 40 pounds and am currently 200 pounds and the large fits perfectly fine and I am no longer fitting into a 34 in regular bra, more like a 38 so I would say a large runs at about a 38DD.. I would buy it again. If you are heavier than this and have bigger boobs than a DD then I suggest trying another brand until medela decides to make bigger sizes ... MoreI would buy this again.
