Purchased this dr kit for my 3 yr old grandson. He absolutely loves it. Has a lot of realistic doctor tools. Nice bag to keep everything in. Would be nice if it velcroed shut, to keep everything inside the bag. He and his older sister has had hours of fun with the kit. Would definitely recommend this purchase.

My daughter loves this doctor kit. To be honest i love melissa and doug toys. They are not like other brands these days. With melissa and doug kids use their imaginations. They learn so much more and can be so creative. This set is not my favorite though i think for the price point it should have came with more. Maybe a doctor coat. We will still enjoy playing with it and continue to buy products from melissa and doug.

Purchased for my 2 1/2 yr old granddaughter that loves to play Dr. I was a little disappointed to find that the stethoscope ear knobs were quite large and hard for a child’s toy. The stethoscope also didn’t have a sound to it like an old one I had. Also wished that the bag was made with a little heavier material so it would hold some shape to it. Other than that a lot of accessories.

The stethoscope also didn’t have a sound to it like an old one I had. Also wished that the bag was made with a little heavier material so it would hold some shape to it. Other than that a lot of accessories.
The bag sucks. It really needs some structural pieces to it to make this kit great to play with. The other complaint is that half of the stuff is simply never touched, like the cards and Dr badge. The kids were gifted another set that has a working stethoscope, flashlight and whatnot that they reach for every time. That other set came in a hard case. This is more of a backup set now.
My 2 year-old granddaughter absolutely LOVES this kit. It is sturdy and can take a lot of handling. There are some lovely touches like an ID badge that a child can personalise. The 'instruments' are very lifelike and the neat packing bag is a bonus when it comes to tidying up!
Had the same issue with the stethoscope. It was packaged in a way that bent the plastic tubing so it broke off within a few days of use. Annoying because that’s what my 2 year old uses the most and keeps asking for a new stethoscope. A lot of pieces, but also a lot of unnecessary charts and pictures/reading material. Wouldn’t but this for the full price.
This set comes with a lot of pieces, which to me isn't the BEST thing. I think a bit more simple would suffice. The pieces are good quality per Melissa and Doug and I would recommend the set to others. 4 stars only because I wish some of the tools were more interactive (like the blood pressure cuff). The shot tool does move and the forehead thermometer does change, so that's fun, but everything else is straight plastic. 5 yo enjoys it!
I bought this at the Target in Eagan for my little nephew who is very interested in taking care of all his little toys right now. My sister contacted me today to let me know many of the pieces in the box were either missing or broken. I had no idea! the box looked perfectly fine and sealed at the store, so I WILL be returning this item!
Gave this to my almost two year old grand daughter and she loves it.. This is a great gift for a toddler. Don't expect a two year old to use each instrument as intended. We have been busy washing dolly's hands with the "needle". Be imaginative and encourage creative uses.
My 5yr old absolutely loves it and so does my 2yr old. It has so many things to play with and they are very easy to use. They love to play and pretend that they are doctors and this keeps them entertained for hours! They had another one but this is absolutely so much better.
