Almost perfect - comfortable, look amazing but I couldn’t learn to live with the bit of plastic sticking out at the heel of the shoe. This might be the way trail shoes are designed but I thought it looked a bit weird!

I have several pairs of Fresh Foam shoes, albeit different models. They have ruined me for pretty much all of my other sneakers as they are unbelievably comfortable right out of the box. Great Gore-Tex kicks! I wear them for work. Usually wear hiking shoes for the support as I’m an electrician. These provide enough support and the comfort that is hard to match. Also fit true to size.

I've owned the last 3 Hierros made in both regular and Gore-Tex versions. These are by far the best version. I also own Gore-Tex shoes from just about every brand. These are my favorite by far. I need more colors of these to release ASAP. I've been looking daily since this all black dropped for more colors. Please release more soon New Balance!
Nice light weight good cushion but upper is way too rigid and cuts into the small section of skin below the inner ankle. Impossible to know this is how the final fit would be until wearing them for several miles outside. Will not wear again.
Hard as a rock.. compared to the 1080 v13.I really like the 1080 v13 for city walking and travel as they are soooo comfortable, when i saw these i so wanted a waterproof version of the 1080v 13 (fresh foam x) for those rainy days, if you've ever taken the 1080 v13 in the rain you know they wet through super quickly as the upper is basically mesh.However, sadly very disappointing.. these are hard as a rock (almost) vs the 1080 v13 and i found them quite uncomfortable at the same size and with a wide fit. Comfort and cushion even for a big guy! Also breathable upper toe area is key.
Mud and snow tire like tread great for winter golf, wet trail, sand, gravel. Light weight compared to boots, and where conditions call for a firm foot hold.
