East coast Florida guy but I have bought my last 4-5 wetsuits from Cleanline because they have the best pricing, customer service, and fast shipping.I have techno butter in a 2mm top, shortsleeve spring, longsleeve/shorts spring, and a 3/2. The material is so comfortable and warm that I’ll probably continue buying it until the other companies catch up…but the stitching quality sucks on every single O’Neill wetsuit apparel I own. I noticed a 2 inch long loop of stitching coming out on my second time wearing this new spring suit. It’s disappointing but obviously no fault of Cleanline. In contrast I own a ripcurl 3/2 that I’ve had for 3-4 years now and the seams are all solid. O’Neill needs to get their quality control together.

Haven’t had a chance to use the wetsuit yet. As for fit, it’s definitely on the tighter side of medium-short versus others I’ve tried. Stretchy enough though. Time will tell. Just wanted to mention the personalized touch from Cleanline when I received my package. From the handwritten note wishing me an awesome time with my new gear, to the stickers, candy and free surf wax. Let’s just say the vibe I got from the folks at Cleanline was just what I needed to get out in the water. Thanks a bunch! Will definitely be looking to these folks for my next purchase!
The Hyperfreak 2mm Long Sleeve springsuit fits me perfectly with no bunching in the arms or body , feels great to surf in
Liked the suit but wasn’t used to and didn’t like the no back zip entry. Ordering a LS Backzip instead. Size was good on the shoulder and suit had a lot of stretch. Package was professionally packed and easy to return.
O'Neill is the ideal brand of wetsuit for broader surfers as it has the added flexibility.
Chest zip is a nightmare. Shoulders are way too narrow. I'm just average build but the shoulders are so tight it would only fit someone with no muscle as all. If you have average surfer build, the shoulders will be way too tight. Order one size larger.
Haven’t had a long arm spring in a while and wonder why I denied myself? The hyper freak is perfect for that transition weather between summer and winter (also known as autumn or fall). Water warm enough to have legs free but air cool so super comfy. The rubber in arms makes for easy paddling and love the straight across chest zip = no feed fiddle required. Such a good suit.
Just arrived !! Fit great 👍🏿 new rubber is amazing and incredibly soft . Can’t wait to get shacked in my new gimpsuit ;)
