I now have both the shallow and the deep Mepal storage bowls. There isn’t anything I can’t store! They’re absolutely bullet proof - withstanding the freezer and the dishwasher with no problem. I have them in black and I will never go back… to any other kind of storage bowls. I gave 4 stars because my most recent order arrived in a beat up old box, and the bowls were very dirty.

In the 80’s, my sister sold Tupperware, and as a result, I had a large collection of lidded bowls. They were great for transporting salads, or storing extra servings of a stew, etc. Something about the bowl shape made them more useful than my current collection of square storage containers or Pyrex bowls (whose tops inevitably warp in the dishwasher). I’ve had my eye on these beauties for a while. I’m very happy with them, and use them every day. My only (tiny) quibble is that the tops can be very difficult to remove, especially when frozen.

I absolutely love these tupperware sets. They are beautiful colors and I get a little endorphin rush every use. They are a heavy duty plastic and have held up to every type of food (no staining or smells) and wash (many dishwashing, handwashing, soaking sessions), and the lids are tight and durable. Nesting ability leads to easy storage too. Highly recommend!
