Mica Pro Eco i-Size Essential Black Maxi Cosi

Very happy with this product. Was a little cautious with my baby only being 6 weeks but the newborn insert is so supportive and the spin feature is a life saver for my back! We currently have a 2 door car until my finance upgrade soon so the fact it can spin 360 is a winner for us until we upgrade to a 4 door where we can change to the 90 degree feature. The seat itself weighs a ton and can be a bit fiddly to fit into the isofix anchors so best to have 2 people to fit but once in, is very secure and convenient. The material is excellent quality and the colour is stunning, much lighter than pictured but still very nice. My only niggle would be that the instructions aren’t very explanatory and it took a while for me to figure out that there’s a little switch under the front to change from spinning 90 degrees to enabling to spin 360. Absolutely fantastic car seat

Such a comfortable seat and my baby loves it! Having outgrown her very first car seat at just 4 months she began crying every time I put her in it and become inpatient when filling with fuel or stopping at traffic lights. This one seemed to be the most reasonably priced one on the market and the transition to it was great. It was super easy to install and the first time I tried her in it, immediately she was smiling and looked so comfortable. Whenever I fill up with fuel now she is smiling at me through the window and no longer cries when I stop at lights! The fact that she looks so upright in it is also peace of mind for me! Perfect car seat and so glad I chose this one. Also recommended to a friend who purchased it.

Exceptional quality with safety and comfort in mind

I participated in a product test for Maxi-Cosi and I am delighted I did...Having used previous Maxi-Cosi car seats before I knew that the company delivers high quality products with safety being paramount - I am happy to say that this car seat was no exception.From opening the box to the installation it was straight forward and very simple to use. The way the seat is designed was very comfortable for our 20 month old daughter as it really supported her neck and head - even in the upright position. The swivel function is flawless and easily operated with one hand. Due to the third isofix being a foot leg it makes it really easy to swap between cars so would be a great addition for anyone who would like to flexibility of this option.Our daughter seemed to enjoy this seat over her previous seat due to the way in which it sat in our car which was higher so she was able to see out of the window which also allowed me to view her more easily in the rear view mirror.We have chosen this seat to use over the previous car seat due to:- Ease of use- Safety aspect & quality- Comfort of our daughter- Flexibility of swapping between our cars

Great car seat

I love this seat. It arrived quickly, it was well packed and it was super easy to fit. The isobar base was fitted within minutes and the seat adjustments were painlessly undertaken by adjusting the leg arm to ensure stability and safety. This car seat is well made. It looks and feels great.Our grandson sits happily in it and is definitely comfy judging by the naps he almost always takes whilst being chauffeured around.The swivel function is probably my favourite feature. No more clunking and twisting around trying to get the baby in and out of the car.The seat itself is well padded and the harness adjusts easily ensuring a safe and comfy ride for him.I am really pleased with this product and would recommend this car seat.

Great rotating rear-facing car seat for my 9 month old which should last

I have been using this seat for a few weeks with my 9 month old. He is very comfortable each time we use it, so much so he often falls asleep shortly into our journey! The seat was easy to adjust to fit him and then easy to install into the car using the isofix connectors. It is also quick and easy to transfer between cars. I like that this seat has been subject to additional testing and has an ADACrating of good. This reassures me that it is a safe seat for my son to be in. My favourite feature is the 360 rotation - this makes getting him in and out really easy without over stretching. The fast the 'eco' seat is also made of recycled materials is a bonus. When this happens I just undo and re-do the buckle, but the good level of cushioning means my son always looks comfortable in the seat.

Great swivel and build quality.

We love this car seat. It is so well built and easy to use. First impression was that it is quite heavy due to the all in one seat functionality. It is certainly worth the weight though. It slots straight in to the isofix anchor point and you adjust the floor arm and off you go. The seat has all the cushioning available for the different ages and is very easy to remove to either wash or adjust for the baby. The swivel mechanism is so seamless, you can go in either direction and there are three levers , two on the side and one at the front, so depending where you are it makes it very easy to operate. Quality and build are great and I cannot fault this car seat.

High quality car seat

I have been using this car seat for my tollder for about a few weeks now. I have used many other car seats trying to find a good for for my son and this has definitely ticked all of my boxes. He sits comfortably with no head tilt when he falls asleep. The material feels and looks high end and cleans well. The spin feature is easy to use but I would say if you spin too quickly it spins fully round and doesn't lock back, as long as done slowly it works PERFECTLY. One of my favourite features is the 5 point harness clip, when the over shoulder straps connect it locks in which most others don't making strapping a squirmy toddler so much easier with this feature. MY SECOND MICA PRO ECO CAR SEAT - ITS GREAT

this is the second time i have purchased a mica pro eco car seat, after having the first for 18 months. The seat is great because:1. it is easy to install, using the isofix connectors. This is a bonus if you are having to move between cars, but also just makes it easy to remove for cleaning the car, then reinstalling.2. easy to use: the headrest and strap adjustment are intuative and the operation is almost identical to the pebble 360 infant carrier, making this a good seat to transition to after using the pebble 360.3. The rotation of the seat makes getting my son in and out easy - much easier than our rear facing fixed (non-rotating) seat.4. the look and feel of the seat is great, with nice fabrics and finishes. its a bonus that the materials are recycled.

Not ergonomic for infants!

We bought this car seat in May 2023 after reading really good reviews on the internet, but we couldn't use it until our baby was 4 months old. And now he is 64, so we had to remove the newborn insert. This time we can't put him in a wider seat because our baby can't stand in a comfortable position. His legs are too close to his tummy because the seat is too deep and he vomits and cries all the time. Unfortunately, we have only been able to use it comfortably for 4 weeks since May. A complete disappointment. I definitely do not recommend it. Very simple to use!

This is a fantastic car seat, it is such an easy seat to use, the swivel function is so simple and glides easily. The straps are so easy to clip together, they stay upright too which is really helpful when getting baby in and out of the seat!The actual assembly was so simple, it was all fitted together as one unit, so didn't need anything doing to it to get it ready to be put in the car. Putting in the car was also incredibly simple, didn't even need the instructions!I think it is a great looking seat, and assume it is also comfortable, as my baby fell asleep almost instantly! Very happy with this purchase.
