When I purchase an updated version of any software, I don't like to see an entirely new look to it, and new ways to find what I so easily found before. With my 2008 version of Office, for instance, when I would want to see a list of all of my Word files, I would click on ""Open,"" and they would all appear. With the new version that does not happen. This program does not want to cooperate with my late 2015 iMac at all. I did a complete uninstall and re-installed the program, I've read countless tutorials about how to deal with the problems and tried various fixes, but NOTHING has helped. I really wish I could go back in time a couple days and purchase the 2011 version instead. Newer isn't always better apparently! My 2016 Microsoft Office for Mac is non-responsive, doesn't always open when prompted, and when it does decide to open it takes one to two full minutes of the bouncing icon before anything else happens. You get 'V Support LLC' on the phone. This has not worked, word is completely unusable, resulted in frequent crashes and now my keynote app is also not working. I have uninstalled this download and will be seeking a refund. I would advise great caution before purchasing this as I was told after some time trying to make it work that scrolling issues and lag when typing were a known issue. If this is the case, and checking some of the online forums would appear to confirm this, I cannot understand why this is not raised as something to check before purchasing. I am not a computer geek but would have paid some attention to such a warning and could have saved myself a load of hassle and so far a day or so of trying to fix things. I was a little concerned purchasing from a website I was unfamiliar with, yet after talking to the sales team I was at ease. I proceeded to purchase the Office Home & Student 2016 for my Mac Laptop. It was one of the easiest transactions & installations I have ever dealt with online. The checkout process took minutes. The installation & activation of this software took maybe 10 minutes and that was on wifi. I love the new 2016 version! Everything has ran smooth so far allowing me to work on various projects & homework. A++
I was able to purchase and download the software easily and for a very good price, including a 13% discount off the price listed on the website. I did run into a problem when I tried to install it on my Mac. When I tried to open the installer package that I had downloaded from Microsoft, I got an error message saying that the Apple Installer could not install it. I called tech support at Softwarekeep and Jason had me download the package again. This time it worked fine--installed seamlessly. Jason was very helpful and it turned out to be simple. He thought that perhaps my first download was somehow corrupted.

I got the MS product key in a reasonable time (for a busy buying season) but had trouble setting up a MS account. It has been 24 hours and I still can't use the software. MS needs to be sure I am who I say I am! I don't understand this at all. I bought the software, why do they need more than 24 hours to see if I am doing something which they don't like? What are they worried about? I have been using MS Word and Excel for over 20 years.
