Microsoft Office 2021 Home & Student

I purchased this product and could never get it to properly install and run. The supplied authentication code did not work. The support I requested was much too technical for me to implement. I requested a new code and later a refund but did not get either. I want the product if can be made to run. I recommend this site only if you are technically inclined.

This product was missing basic formatting. It did not have the ability to created angled text or to make angles at all from the format cells drop down. I had these basic formatting tools on my 2016 version. I tried to get a hold of Microsoft to fix this and no one would help. I had to buy a different program. They could have replaced a malfunctioning program but there was no one to help with this. I went to Microsoft to get help and it showed that the program had the formatting tools that it did not. They could have replaced it but there is no human to help. Microsoft stole my money on this bad product. If you buy it you will probable get the same malfunctioning program. Do not buy this program. I do not know what else it is missing in the formatting.

Purchased this for my home desktop. Works as advertised. Was using the online version of Office 365. I didn’t want to sign up for it because the price was too high for me to afford considering how much I would use it. I purchased this instead with a lifetime license for a very good price. Extremely happy with my purchase.

It's Office

I like that it's a non-subscription version of Office, because I hate subscription model software, and since clients send me Word files, it's easier to have a immediately compatible, more or less up-to-date version of that software. On the other hand, it is Office, and the software (especially Word) is bloated with features that detract from functionality. Ah, well!

MS Office eval.

I've used Office for many years. When I was teaching, it gave me all I needed to communite with parents and to make presentations to the school board as well as my classroom. I really like the inclusion of Power Point. I used it for a precentation at a class reunion and I was able give a very professional program which brought many positive comments.

New but maybe not improved.

Purchased to replace a Home and Student version from 2012 lost in PC crash. Microsoft added a bunch of seemingly unneeded stuff into the Office 2021 programs that just seems to add steps and mouse clicks into using the programs. Still a good product. My old Office files seem to have made the transition OK. I have no desire to save my financial and personal files to their cloud or share them with others.

Watch out on a mac - gave PC download

B&H did everything right: emailed my key right away and the link took me to Microsoft for the download. I used my MS login, answered more than the normal number of security questions - forced me to change my password, re-confirm, and so on. Finally, the MS Office part came up, clicked the usual 1-2-3 steps, and ... it put OfficeSetup.exe onto my mac. Grrrr - obviously that's not going to work (and it didn't). Broke out in a sweat for 20 mins going round and round on the MS site because it kept saying the product was already activated and I need to buy it again to install on another computer. More Grrrr. Finally found a purchased products page, it had an install button, and I could download a 2.1 GB macOS pkg file. Every time you first save, you have to steer it to your local computer if that's what you want to. Lots of extra clicks.

Word and Excel are always essential software

Currently represent the standard especially of the use of word and excel. SInce it is a cloud platform represent a good solution to share the same content from different device, but most useful is the ability to have a persistent personal backup with onedrive. Personally i feel that the need of client access is still an old conception, that lock the user and especially push the organization to the need to install and upgrade the client side. Personally i don't like the "Teams" organization, the navigation some time is really inefficient. in a comparison with G-Suite probably in the next feature we will see more an increment of the diffusion of G suite that il more common among mobile users

Works Great. Great Price.

I had to upgrade my 2016 Office software. The product is great. Softwarehubs made it simple to purchase and download my software library. I copied the Product Key long number from my Softwarehubs Prime account and wrote it down. Microsoft may require you to give this information if you have to contact them for assistance. My Office runs smoothly and I'm satisfied.
