Microsoft Surface Arc Mouse - Light Grey

Good price, and great product. Snaps flat for easy transport and connected really easily to my laptop. I’ve only used it a few times, but really enjoying not having to worry about cables or keep track of dongles. It also means a usb port is freed up. It is light weight though, so you have to get used to having a much lighter mouse.

Form Over Function

I really like the concept of this mouse and I've been interested in it ever since Microsoft debuted the design a while back. It's good if you need something you're only going to use occasionally that doesn't take up too much room in your bag, but it starts to get annoying to use after about 10 or 15 minutes. The design is really cool and Microsoft does some clever things with it like having it turn on and off automatically. When it's folded flat I slide it into one of my backpack pockets and it takes up no noticeable space. The color choices match up to a lot of what's available on the Surface devices too, so it looks great next to them (I'm using mine with a Surface Book 3). The clicker is a single button and also a touch pad and that does work well as far as detecting left/right clicks and scrolling up and down and horizontally. The issue arises in the ergonomics of it. The design doesn't really give your palm a natural place to rest on it, so I ended up almost clawing it most of the time. At the end of the day it's just not something you would want to use to get stuff done. I don't think there's necessarily anything wrong with buying this just for its looks because I still think it's really cool in spite of not actually enjoying using it, but I also think at this price point you have much betters options available.

Good mouse

This product is good build and has good features like horizontal scroll. Smooth and lightweight great for travel it requires carry case with it so it won’t scratch which are available to buy. The only thing i didnt like is the empty space that came with the working position so you fingures will stay hanging and the rest must lift the mice to move it instead of supporting the rest on it. The rest and fingers can get numb. I ended up returning it and got the ergonomic mouse because im heavy user

Great Concept, Can't Adjust Though

This mouse has a nice design and seems well built. It's was simple and quick to connect. Works well, accurate and responsive. I like the look and how it flattens out and takes up less room in my bag. The only thing i dont like is the feel in my hand. I can't get used to the empty space underneath. It leaves no place for some fingers and I have to adjust my grip. Then i go to work and use a normal mouse. When i got back to this one i had to adjust again. Had to return it. It may work well for others though.

Neat Idea - Mediocre Realization

The surface arc mouse has a very slick design. It is neat, and practical, that it flattens so that it doesn't take a lot of space in the case. It is also very extremely useful that it turns off when flat, and on when arced.However, the surface arc is not ergonomically well designed - there is almost no curvature perpendicular to the arc shaped direction. The scroll pad is a neat idea, but the sensitivity could have been optimized a bit more. Not worth the money

Works ok. Takes some time getting used to the ergonomics. My complaint is that it does not hold up well to daily use. My Arc Mouse is only 4 months old and it looks like it has been uses for the last 4 years. There is an odd stain on the top of the mouse that can not be removed. I am Italian, I get it, but really shouldnt have become an issue so quickly. I am very careful with all of my tech equipment so i know its not anyrhing I am doing( or not doing) i have had several other mouses(?) Is the past that have held up better. I will be replacing this with something else

Pretty good mouse

This mouse is sleek and easy to travel with. I often leave my other wireless mouse on by accident which drains the battery, because the only way to know it’s on is to check the light underneath. With this mouse, if it’s flat it’s definitely off. It will only turn on if you switch it to the bent position in the picture. I can look at it and visually see it’s on or off which has been great in preserving battery life.

Slim, convenient, functional

Great mouse. Love the swipe feature to scroll 4-way when needed. The right click tends to require clicking near the edge but otherwise it’s easy to turn on and off simply by collapsing or arcing it and slim build allows for easy and not so bulky storage; standard mouse storage gets bulky in a slim laptop bag.

The most travel-friendly mouse you can get

Really innovative portable design and have not found a comparable mouse that has the same level of portability. The mouse just works although it does take some getting use to with the lack of visible delineation between the left and right mouse button. For basic computer work such as browsing the internet etc. it works fine but ergonomically strains my hand and wrist when using for more intense and long mouse-required work. For travel, the best mouse you can get that slips into slim pockets in your laptop bag/backpack.

You cannot be touching the left button with the index finger when right clicking with another finger. It's a decent mouse for the occasions on the laptop where you want a mouse instead of using the touchpad. But I think it has too many use comprises for a primary, daily mouse. The pros only really apply to the portability case anyway.
