Very excellent manufacture quality. should last 20 years as all Mieles, but wish that for this price, suction and power switch be located in handle of wand, as foot controls wear out painted surfaces of foot controls in unit. I still use my Sebo C3.1, 30 years old now for that reason. I hate coming over to the Miele to change suction settings on the canister and get my face flushed with exhaust.

I LOVE my new vacuum! I have 2 German Shepherds and the hair is endless. This little vacuum does it all and I know that my floors are clean. It is so easy to maneuver, put in bags and more. Expensive yea but worth it. I have a upright Miele now but it’s 11 plus so it was time.

The different settings are remarkable and my Cat isn't afraid when I turn it on!. I've been familiar with Miele products for years, their quality and master workmanship for years, But, their washers and dryers were always out of my price range. I have had an Oreck upright for the last 14 years, it worked and held up and is now the basement vacuum. I will say that the new Miele is a pleasure to use and I love having attachments again to dust and do curtains etc. The upholstery attachment did a fantastic job on my curtains (which were very dusty). The electric head won't spin if the height is set too low for your carpet pile. The foot pedal adjustment on it is a bit clunky and I hope that it won't be a problem down the road. I have long hair and two dogs, one of whom is double coated and sheds constantly, it had no problem picking up. My house is so clean! It is lightweight, the cord could be longer. I have to change outlets to finish the job. Great vacuum. My shepherd should be bald many times over with all the hair that she sheds on a daily basis. I have gone through multiple pet vacuums the dog hair has killed them all. First time I used this vacuum it actually picked up so much hair it changed the color of my carpets back to their original color.
Arrived on time . Packaged well. Item was everything as advertised/described.would have given 5 stars except for this one hiccup: when I called to ask a question about the Miele complete Cat/Dog canister vacuum ( was this model made in Germany?) the female representative replied "I don't know". There was no attempt to obtain the info for me.....never mind that I was dropping nearly 900.00 for a vacuum. I suggested to her "can you find out?" She eventually did comeback with an answer.
I love this vacuum. Starting with hiw light and maneuverable it is to how quiet it is. The best part and what distinguishes is from my Dyson no bag vacuum is how well is picks up my cats litter that spills all over the floor. I don’t have to use the small suction attachment just to nake sure there is enough power to pick the litter up. I just used the regular hardwood floor head and it was gone in seconds!!! I am looking forward to having this vacuum for the next 15 years! I love it!!!
I am so very pleased with this vacuum, I have had my eye on it for over a year, but, debated on spending the extra money. I am pleased that I went ahead and gave into my want. I live on a farm horses, chickens, cats, Saint Bernard, and a English Mastiff. I am always carry in on shoes/clothes hay, and lots of animal hair. I also have a couple cats that are inside/outside, and one orange cat, that loves to sleep on my white carpeting in my bedroom, I can say that no more do I have orange hair on my carpet, and the rest of my house has hardwood, and really after vacuuming with my old vacuum, you could still see hair on the hardwood, NO more with the this vacuum. I vacuum about every other day. I am extremely pleased with this vacuum.
Pros: I just find this is the best cleaner on the market. this will be my 3rd. I have tried other top names and always go back to the Mieli cat and dog.
