Can’t rate Miele vacuum cleaners high enough. Gave my old one (over 15 years old and still as efficient) to my mum and treated myself to a new one. This is just as good. More expensive if bought direct from Miele so shop around and you can find a good deal from reputable suppliers.

Both me and my daughter love this hoover and actually fight over who's hoovering! It has better suction than the dyson I had and has suction that pulls the flattened pile on my carpet back up, and that's not even on carpet setting. Yes if you have the setting correct for floor type it can be hard to move because of the powerful suction so we have it on a lower setting. The hard floor attachment is really good and it's not as noisy as the dyson. Only downside is that it is a bagged hoover, but it came with a leaflet for a free pack, which with the one it came with should last a while.

I have had this hoover for about 6 weeks now, and I've tried it on various floors and furnishings. The different suction powers are great, and fully adjustable on the handle, as well as being able to power it on and off quickly and easily too. You can easily turn the power down to avoid pulling the carpets up at the edges, and then back up again, at the press of a button. The 6 programmes include curtains, rugs, soft furnishing, silent, carpet and hard floors.The handy tools are stored conveniently under the flip lid, and include everything you will possibly need. The power cable is longer than the previous Miele that I had, which now means I can clean the whole downstairs without having to unplug. In the 30 years we have been using Miele cylinder vacuum cleaners the continual evolution of these cleaners never ceases to impress us. This is the best one we have owned so far. It is beyond our expectations. would recommend it in a heartbeat. The comfort handle and the quietness is by far superior to any of the other models.

We've had it for a few weeks now, and so far, so good. It's got plenty of modes, allowing you to tone down the suction when you don't want to pull up the carpet and turn it right up for those grubbier areas.It's easy to direct and does corners well, the attachments are as expected and do their job perfectly. The on button on the handle is very useful, however you do need to press it first on on the vacuum itself and then again on the handle when you plug it in.Overall if this is the style of vacuum cleaner you like, and it fits your budget go for it!
Such a amazing hoover. Light weight. Great suction power. It comes with all the different parts.Different settings for different power of suction. It is also very quite. Plug withdraws very easy. It is a little on the pricey side but definitely worth the money.
I was in need of a new vacuum after our bag free upright decided to give up! I had some reservations about moving to a smaller vacuum with a dust bag but should not have worried! What a surprise. The unit arrived well packaged and was an attractive blue in colour. The smaller hand tools were neatly stowed within the unit under a flap that when lifted reveals them. What was surprising was the portability of the unit which was easy to manoeuvre around the house. As for putting it to use the vacuum had a number of features and suction levels. The vacuum when set to work was amazing. The suction levels were tested using the different tools and the performance was outstanding both on carpeted areas and laminate flooring. Wanted a cleaner that was easier to use than my old one as I have pain and strength issues. The tube part is heavier than my previous vacuum (a Henry) but I find the comfort handle and especially the switches being located there much easier to use. The cleaner itself is also easier to manoeuvre and the wide head means the job gets done alot faster. Suction seems really good on both carpets and hard floors and I like having a different head for them both. I alsoIke the way the tube part slots into the side of the body for storage. Overall really pleased and bought when on offer which was a help.
I love a good ergonomic handle, i've always been a bit rough when it comes to vacuuming and like to have it on it's most powerful setting as i feel that on carpet it really does pull out anything deeply ingrained leaving a cleaner floor.This vacuum is a bag type, which means that instead of getting dust and dirt everywhere when emptying it, you can just remove the bag and dispose of it outside, no dust insde at all.I have upgraded by buying the rotating head which agitates carpets releasing hairs etc that are deeply in there, but then we have hard wood flooring too so the wider gentle head is a nice touch.
