It's hard to wax lyrical about hoover bags - but - these are the best (so is the Miele Hoover they are for). Living in a two cat household, I really need a sturdy, reliable vacuum cleaner and the Miele Cat and Dog is the best one I have found, as it combines great suction power with adjustable controls and is light enough for me to use with ease. The only downside is that it needs these dedicated Miele brand bags, which are a little pricey. That said, they are really easy to fit, don't split or leak, and the vacuum seems to keep full suction power right up until the bag is full, so I think you get what you pay for in this case. Although buying bags is an ongoing expense, in my opinion the performance is so much better that I wouldn't go back to using a bagless cleaner again, and the Miele hoover and these bags are a winning combination.

These work perfectly - I have allergies so prefer a bagged cleaner. I tried a dupe product from a reputable supplier but that was of no value and needed to be discarded as it did not fit well in the machine. I recommend staying with the originals, they provide better overall value.

Good Points: Multiple layers of filtering in the bag keep down the dust coming out of the exit vent, hence no dusty smell.Improvement Points: The closure flap on these bags is very fragile. If you hoover up something that doesn't go easily through the hole, the flap stays open (e.g. very small bit of pet bedding from cage). If you try to remove it the flap can snap off. It also doesn't return to fully closed position. Poor design, I think, especially given the price of these bags.

And what to say about vacuum cleaner bags? They fit the device, because we chose the correct ones.
A top German make, original bags which perform so well and take quite a time to fill up in a normal household environment, inside a top Miele vaccum cleaner. The bags filter the dust perfectly well and ensure only clean air comes out.As an idea, I always add a few drops of Jasmine oil onto the bag and whilst vaccuming one finds a very pleasant smell circulated by the vaccum cleaner.
