A pair of locking pliers that grip like they should. I wish I had of bought these years ago.

Great substitute for original Irwin or Petersen vice grips. The ability to turn the clamp with a screwdriver etc makes them a little better too.

Have not used, but feels very "light". Not sure how long the plastic screw lock will last. Will not be an everyday use, so should do.
Just what I wanted!
Had been struggling with rusty bolts using my old brand X locking pliers. Brought these and a bigger pair of the same make. Hey presto! Job's a good 'ne in no time.
How did I ever go for so long without having a pair of vise grips in my toolbox? I actually had these buy these because I was installing a deadbolt to my front door. I need this to hold onto the tailpiece so that I can use a hacksaw and cut off a part of the tailpiece to fit the lock. Yes, that's actually part of the installation instructions. This tool made my life easier in the having of it. I've also used it to remove door hinge pins, gripping onto the pin with the vise grip, then pounding on the side of these vise grips with a rubber mallet to remove the pin. Time will tell what other use I will have with this tool.Basically, any time you need to grip onto something and hand-hold it is when having this tool will be handy. This will not replace a benchtop vise, one of those 40-lb deal that holds something absolutely steady. Different tools for different jobs.
I keep these pliers in my kitchen utility drawer. I have arthritis in my hands. They are useful for many things that I can't do with my fingers. However, they are not as sturdy or as good as the 40 year old product they replaced..
Better built than the new Irwin "vice grips". Was a bit disappointed that it doesn't have a wire cutter. Just two flat surfaces. Hence, the 4 stats. Happy that they are NOT insulated. Fit perfectly into my holster this way.
i purchased this tool to add to my assortment of milwaukee locking plier set.
