Battery works mint, runs the tool as good as an original battery does. The charge also holds very good. Minor problem is its a bit stiff to insert into the tool, but it is very minor and fits snug into the socket which is a bonus in my mind. Wont be buying original batterys again.

I have 3,4 and 5Ahr batteries for my Milwaukee 18v tools. This 4.0Ahr battery delivers more than enough juice without being too heavy, so you can drill away without getting tired hands. Definitely has enough capacity to last through long jobs without needing a recharge. Also have one of these on my torch and only recharge once every 6 months just to top it off. Never have run out of juice on the torch.
I received this as a redemption for a drill and driver set. Having a spare battery on charge is great especially when doing a lot of drilling, countersinking and driving. Even Milwaukee batteries run out and having one on charge allows you to stop when you want to, not when a battery goes flat.
It done battery things. Got it as a redemption and can't complain about a free battery
purchased a full drill kit, and even though it comes with its own batteries, I finder is always Super handy having back up.
It does the job but it's the same size as the 5Ah battery with less run time. If your going to provide less run time then use flat cells instead of round ones so the bonus of a reduction in weight and physical size is the point, for say light duty tasks like electrical fit off and light fixings are being done repeatitively, quickly hooking to your pocket and quick un-hooking to install or tighten small screws benifits from a light weight tool that doesn't pull your pants down and the weight isn't noticable over extented use.Make a snub nose battery that matches the profile of the 3rd and 4th gen impacts for getting closer to walls, with flat pack cells to reduce even the height and especially the weight. then test the run time to fit off the lights, fans, switches ... Free rebate with a Drill and impact wrench kit and it was a huge bonus. Run time is good on my DA polisher which draws a lot of power, but this gives me time to charge up my other batteries and is a handy unit to keep on board for use in a pinch. Couldn't be happier with Milwaukee's equipment and service.
They are a bit had to slide into and out of the Milwaukee tools. The Battery Charge levels LED indication lights are not bright and need to be in the shade to see. Sometimes after charging the tools will not work when the battery is first put in. I have to push the charge indication button to get the battery to start suppling power to the tool. (Bit Weird) As far as battery life goes, they seem okay. I have not done any tests with original Milwaukee batteries of the same Ah but their performance is not an issue. I am happy with my purchase (as they are cheap) but any prospective buyers should be aware they are not the same quality all round as a Milwaukee battery.
