Easy to install and remove. Lasts long enough and more in order for the job to be finished. Quick to charge and I love the fact it can be used across multiple Ryobi 18v products. The warranty is very generous at 3 years and you can register online where your receipt is stored with Ryobi

Bundled with 360psi pressure washer: good deal!

I wanted the 360psi pressure washer and saw that it came with this 4ah battery. It's ideal for a car wash session or quick patio cleanup as the run time is good and the weight is fine. Very nice to have another larger battery in my ONE+ kit.

I read some reviews saying basically DOA, however decided to listen to the good ones and bought 2 and I'm so glad I did! At first they seemed not to charge or work, however I noticed after taking the first battery on and off the charger a few times it seemd to be charged up overnight, then when I put it in the drill it seemed dead. Husband tried it too and still nothing. Finally out of frustration I picked the drill up and squeezed the trigger and it worked.... we finally realized maybe the contacts had industrial residue of some sort and he rubbed the contacts of battery two and it worked right away on the charger and drill. Strangely enough my old battery now takes a charge too, so I'm beyond thrilled to have 2 working backups. The only downside I see is the buttons to hold the battery on are a little hard to manage but otherwise no complaints. Thanks!

Easy to achieve the best results
28 December 2022

I purchased the battery operated Ryobi edger simply because I have difficulty in achieving straight lines with a whipper snipper. It is so easy to use and get the tailored edges I was looking to achieve. The proof is when you gain complimentary comments from neighbours and passers by about the sharpness of the pathways and they are curious as to how I have achieved it.....

Great initially, but stopped charging after a couple of years
5 April 2023

Was a good battery initially, but only lasted two years and now it won't charge. Unfortunetely I didn't register it so I can't claim on the warrenty. It's a lot of money to fork out for two years use. The 5Ah ones have lasted longer. Its pretty disappointing.

Hard to find for those older Ryobi 18 v tools.
25 June 2022

I need to replace the batteries (I always get a pair so that for those long jobs, one can be charging while the other is in use) about every 3rd year. (Last ones were purchased in 2019 and this pair in 2022) Long lasting power and usually only stop being usable because of cells going bad through extensive use. Use and recharge is how I use them, even though it might be more efficient for battery life to run them down completely before recharging. I am willing to trade the ability to NOT run out of power in the middle of a job for a little shorter life. These older tools work forever if properly cleaned and stored between uses. I haven't tried the newer "higher capacity" batteries to see if they will even work in my older equipment, but they do require a different ... MoreI need to replace the batteries (I always get a pair so that for those long jobs, one can be charging while the other is in use) about every 3rd year. My charger does a great job with these older style batteries.

Loving the portability
27 December 2022

Needed a larger battery for my new lawnmower and actually bought 2 - these worked well. Did about 100m2 of heavy lawn with the first battery so I am expecting better coverage with next mow. Love the way this battery can just be swapped from tool to tool.

Ryobi Style 18v non-lithium batteries.excellent!
27 August 2022

Heavy duty, rechargeable 18V Ryobi-style batteries. Chinese aftermarket brand, but works perfectly, plenty of power for my Ryobi drill, vacuum and flashlight. Charged up perfectly in one hour. Half the price of lithium batteries. Im delighted.

Ryobi replacement battery
14 December 2019

For the money I suppose you can't beat them. But it's certainly not the equivalent of a Ryobi 4 Ah battery. I get much better run times from a original battery. The replacement batteries tend to overheat quicker on my skill saw leaving me to wait a couple of minutes for them to cool down. They are also four ounces lighter than the Ryobi 4 Ah battery leaving me to believe they have less battery cells in them which would explain the shorter run time. I am however please with the purchased but only gave it three stars because it is not a 4 Ah equivalent. I suppose, only time will tell how they last and if the company will stand behind their warranty.

very powerful

These batteries seem to have more power than my original batteries. I hope they last longer than the originals. They came fully charged, I like that. I could use them right away. I put them on the charger and it said the were full. I could work right away.
