I previously had multiple different brands for my tools and my drill and driver were no different.I decided to pick up the M12 and have not be disappointed at all! They have tons of power to work with and can drill into almost anything I'm doing. My only "issue" is the battery as it doesn't last as long as my previous drill and driver did but they had much much bigger batteries. The batteries charge to full so quickly that if I start to have low battery I can throw it on the charger, go do something else for a few and it's ready to go again. It's a killer system and the size and weight is fantastic!

GREAT assortment of Milwaukee tools. Very happy with them all. Driver drill works good with plenty of power. Hex driver is awesome. Flashlight is VERY bright. the magnet on it is strong. Ratchet is quick with plenty of torque. I love the compact air compressor. It has a very easy to read display and is easy to set desired pressure. AAA+++ Seller!

I really bought this combo kit just for the impact driver. I have the M18 fuel drill/ driver combo as well and it's awesome but sometimes the driver in that kit is just a bit too powerful for certain applications (it has a tendency to snap off smaller bolt heads), the M12 driver is a little more forgiving. The M12 drill has a wide range of settings and is surprisingly powerful for how compact it is. I would definitely recommend the M12 combo kit, it's great for lighter jobs and for fitting into smaller spaces. I also think it's a good kit for use around the house. I haven't had it long so I can't speak on it's longevity but so far I'm very satisfied with it.

This kit includes everything you need for driving and fastening tasks. The impact driver is powerful yet compact, making it ideal for tight spaces. I found the batteries to be long-lasting and quick to recharge, which keeps my projects moving without interruption. The kit's build quality is top-notch—durable and comfortable to use. Overall, this Milwaukee combo kit is a fantastic addition to my toolbox, and I'd highly recommend it for both professionals and DIY enthusiasts alike.
Drill and driver work fine. I like the size of them. I just don't like how Robinson's clearly sold me either a returned set or a display model when advertised as NEW. All items had been opened and out of the plastic. I picked it up about 10 minutes before they closed so I was trying to be respectful and not start opening stuff. I should have known when the box she handed me looked a hundred years old. Definitely disappointed. I wish people were more honest.
I was using a Bosch small driver but the batteries finally gave up on me so I saw this combo on sale and thought I would give it a shot. I use it for smaller things like installing door knobs, hinges, ceiling fans, towel racks, light fixtures, etc. This one being an impact driver may be a bit much but I can adjust. The smaller size of these are perfect for what I use them for and I am pleased with everything about them so far. Love the belt clip. Feels good in the hand as well.
Yea though I walk through the isle of cordless power tools I should not overlook the David surrounded by Goliath 18 volt tools . That is the 12 volt line up. Small like a Ford pinto but mighty like a Power stroke diesel. Fits perfectly in my hand as if it were a missing limb of my body. The satisfaction is equivalent to drinking an ice-cold bottle of Ski. I love the rubber over mold as if I had just upgraded to the platinum edition. The Power is impressive as if they were 100 tiny mule unicorns living within the power cells pulling and pushing as needed against the Fastners of choice with ease. The light seems to shine the way through a world of darkness that I may hit my mark and complete the task at hand. Do not underestimate these little tools and add them to your collection because small tools matter and deserve Love just as much as there bigger heavier cousins.
I purchased these to get a smaller tool than what I own from the red and black brand formerly sold by Sears and the Orange brand sold by a "big box" home store. While these are lighter and somewhat smaller, they are not significantly smaller in a key dimension, from the front of the tool to the back. When I've had problems with the other two brands that I already own, it has been there was too little space to work in and the front/back direction was the problem. These tools are actually not that different than the standard sizes from the orange brand front to back. In fact, the organge brands impact driver is shorter in that direction. The other thing that I wanted was a standard driver function that would operate slowly. In fact, the organge brands impact driver is shorter in that direction. The other thing that I wanted was a standard driver function that would operate slowly. I found the orange brand's impact driver's slowest speed was about 170rpm and this one's was about 100. So, Milwaukee wins that one. For the drill driver, the orange brand would go as slow as 30rpm while this one's low limit seemed to be about 70rpm. Not as slow as I hoped. If I was buying a new set, I would still be interested in these because they are light weight, made well, have strong motors, and for most uses would still be decent. However, they are not significantly better than what I already own; so, I've decided to return them.
I have owned and used many drills/drivers from various manufacturers in my life, but these little M12 are great. They are quite powerful for what they are, and they are not even the brushless models. I'm not saying they compete with the torque of other 18V or 20V combos, but they are perfect when you need smaller tools for tight spaces. They feel great to use also. I've used other 12V brands before but these far exceed them. This is my first Milwaukee purchase, although I have used the brand before, and I am confident this will not be my last purchase. I think my current set of 18V tools is due for and upgrade and I am looking primarily at Milwaukee now. Both the M18 and M12 lineups have many great tool options. I'm so happy with my purchase. These little guys are so comfortable to use and quite powerful, even the brushed model. I needed a smaller profile drill for some work I was doing and found these on sale. I had used some Milwaukee in the past but never owned any until now and as my current set of drills and drivers are well used and batteries dying, I can say I'm looking real hard at this brand from now on. I think I will be purchasing an M18 combo soon. Both the M12 and M18 lineup have a great selection. It is safe to say I've switched from a mustard to a ketchup man if you know what I mean. It seems yellow has so many gimmicky things with their different models, I appreciate the simplicity of Milwuakee's lineup.
