These are some great quality sockets; way above than the normal box store or discount tool ones. The quality, workmanship, fitting, size etching, readability etc. are all very well thought out. The sizing and fit are perfect like the tool truck tools. I have used them both with impact wrench and regular ratchet with good results on several repair projects. High recommend them to anyone and am looking out for non-impact ones now.
I got this Shockwave 1/2 drive metric deep well set to compliment my Milwaukee 1/2 impact wrench. I love the easy to read socket size on each piece and the case. I used both of the above to completely replace the front suspension on my tired Toyota Corolla. It made this dreaded project much more tolerable. The deep sockets are heavy duty and versatile. I highly recommend them for an addition to your must have tool collection. Milwaukee tools are the best!
Milwaukee yet again has another winner! This socket set is perfect for my needs. At work I'm constantly on the go from building to building. I needed some deep impact sockets for those tough jobs for heavy use for my impact drill. I love that everything is in one case that's easy to carry. Everything is labeled and easy to read. sockets are laser printed and the number stands out so that its easy to locate what you need. The best part is that these are built to last and built to take a beating which is exactly what I need. Overall, you get the best and you know that they will last.
This set is a nice pick up for the price that I paid for. I haven’t got a chance to test the sockets yet. I did get a paper cut for touching the edge of the paper cardboard that wraps around the plastic hard case. Be careful!
Can't go wrong with anything from Milwaukee's shockwave line. If you carry your sockets in a bag or use them in tight spots eventually the black will begin to wear down to almost a shiny gray. I trust my commission checks to the shockwave sockets. My issue with this set is that 10mm-14mm isn't necessary to run on a 1/2" impact unless your plan is to snap the head off of a bolt to drill it out. The thing I hate the most about these sockets is replacing the ones I lose. Great sockets.
These are nice sockets and I like the large numbers for sizes. The sockets themselves seem well built and worked well the few times I've used so far. One thing though is the coating on the sockets is not uniform and varies among the sockets where some look nice and then some look all spotted and discolored. They could do a better job with that. Also while the case it comes with is nice it does not have a tray that comes out at all. I would have liked to get the packout set of these but they were twice the price. I got the SAE set as well and they should work well for me.
