Jo Malone - Mimosa & Cardamom Cologne - 100 ml

This is a clean, office-friendly fragrance. It has great longevity and projection for a Jo Malone fragrance. It smells unisex, but leans more towards the feminine side (think a cozy, warm sweater). I began wearing this scent in the fall-winter time in Hawaii, so I always associate this scent with the holidays. I think it smells best in cool weather. It's too cloying for warmer temperatures.

Jo Malone's Mimosa and Cardamom cologne is nothing like I've ever sniffed before. It has soft powder notes from the mimosa flower, spicy and herbal notes from the cardamom and creamy sweetness from the tonka bean. Compared to other Jo Malone perfumes, this one lasts much longer on my skin and clothes (about six hours). However it doesn't project widely, so others many not be able to take in your scent unless they hug you. This one is also one of the more unique scents from the brand; if you have tried their fruity/berry/citrus offering and weren't fan-girling, please give this one a try. A lovely, subtle skin scent.

This is a lovely skin scent. I find that I enjoy it best after I’ve showered at night before I cozy into bed. It stays close to the skin and makes you smell clean and feminine. It doesn’t project very far, but it’s a lovely soft scent to smell on yourself. I think this would do well as a fall daytime scent or even a work-appropriate fragrance as it leaves a subtle impression without being overpowering or cloying. I received this as a gift and I would purchase for myself. I took off a star for lasting power.

Best Cologne Ever

I chose Mimosa & Cardamom Cologne a few years ago having received money from our three sons for my birthday. I then purchased a smaller bottle which is still half full. Today is my birthday and a very dear friend has sent me a £100 John Lewis Gift Voucher!! Overwhelmed is an understatement!! I am going to purchase the larger bottle of Mimosa & Cardamom with my £100 gift voucher. I would NEVER be able to purchase the larger bottle as money is tight. Gorgeous long lasting original scent

Bought this in lockdown having never smelt it before! A bit risky but wanted a treat. I've had many Jo Malone perfumes before and don't think I've come across one I don't like. Normally go for the citrus smells but this is wonderful. I find explaining scents difficult as we all have our favourites but this perfume lasts a long time, isn't sweet at all or too heavy. It does have a good projection as people comment on it. It's a sophisticated day and evening smell, probably more summer than winter. Certainly will be buying it again. It's a nice luxury to smell so good. Jo Malone perfumes aren't known for their longevity but I think what makes them superior is their originality..

Loses scent quickly

I haven’t fallen in love with a scent this fast in a long time. Bought a big bottle, small bottle and body wash, which represents a pretty good investment since I feel the price point gives the average shopper reasons to pause. Soo disappointed. An hour after application, I can’t smell a thing. No lingering scent on my clothing either. I’ve had a body spray from the Gap with better effectiveness than this. Love the scent, but I think they base their pricing on the lovely presentation. I will not be a repeat customer.

My Favorite scent!

As several other reviews noted, I have migraines so I've had a hard time finding scents. However I stumbled onto JM a few years ago and I am hooked!! I have several that I layer, however this is my favorite. Sometimes I wear it by itself. My favorite to pairing is with Nectarine Blossom & Honey. It's a bit sweeter and the combo is sooooo good. My other pairing, that is less sweet, is with Wood, Sage & Sea Salt. I always use after my shower before bed and I have to say the scent does last on me rather well. I spray in my hair as well. I tried to layer with the cream but it didn't settle as nicely on my skin. My ultimate favorite fragrance

I am a big perfume user, and a huge fan of Jo Malone ( it is a Jo Malone shop in Torino, Italy!!! ) . I got other Jo Malone fragrance from my Boyfriend for several occasions ( English Pear & Freesia , 154 , I like both ), but this one is the best. I really fell in love with this scent and I enjoy it endlessly. It is a wonderful fragrance for day or night. I like being able to smell this scent on my clothes too. This fragrance lasts a long time, I love it!

Subtly Sexy

I first discovered this scent from a sample in a magazine ad around 2015 or 2016 & meant to buy it because I just loved the way it smelled on me. I've moved around a few times all across the country and this year I wanted to buy a new fragrance and I remembered this scent. Thank goodness it's still in production, well I not only bought the perfume but I bought the body creme/lotion as well. I absolutely adore this fragrance. Its my 1st foray into the Jo Malone family (of fragrances) and it's great to be here. If you love this type of scent you're definitely going to enjoy this fragrance. The creme/lotion is absolutely divine. It took a few hand washings (4+) before the scent came off, now that's something!!!! Needless to say I'm very pleased w/my purchase. Warm and comforting

I love Myrrh and Tonka, so I thought I would try this for layering. I bought both the creme and the cologne. I used to have a Mimosa tree, until we had a cold winter and it did not survive. This cologne really reminds me of the way I would catch a whiff of the mimosa as I walked by. The cardamom seems to ground it perfectly. It is a soft scent, but it really does last on my skin, more so than some of the other Jo Malone scents. A good buy, I will purchase again.
