My 6 year old really likes this doll for all the accessories it comes with. The hair is really nice and good quality so it doesn't easily tangle. The hair clips and hair style is so cute. The outfit is actually a separate blouse under the vest so my daughter enjoys switching them around. She also gets a kick out of the fact that the hand comes off and on. The pet puppy is so cute, too. There is one con. The backpack is difficult for her to put on and off so i have to help her. I love this Frankie Stein doll so much. The new g3 MH dolls are much sturdier and durable than the flimsy g1 dolls (no hate). Frankie is beautiful. Their hair is a little greasy out of the box but that’s just the gel, after washing it out their hair feels amazing! I love the disability representation with Frankies prosthetic leg <3 Only think I don’t like about these new dolls is the lack of a doll stand. I would much rather a doll stand than all the extra accessories that comes with the dolls.Also, I think €35 is too expensive. €25-€30 is a more reasonable price in my opinion.Either way- I LOVE THEM ❤️

When I aksed my 5 year old what she thought about the Frankie doll she responded, "I love it!" She's never been much into fashion dolls but she was very excited about this one. I was so excited for this doll, and I do love the design and Monster High as a whole! Unfortunately, the doll I bought has a few problems. Firstly, the arms are very stiff and feel like they're about to break when you try to move them, the legs are much the same but easier to move. The jacket is also too big for the doll and has loose threads. I'm not exactly sure if the backpack is meant to open, but if it is it's very difficult to open! That might be user error though, not necessarily the dolls. Despite this, though, I love the doll! They're so cute and the little accessories are very easy to put on and look nice when they are held. So I bought this doll on Amazon and it took almost a month to come in. After I got her I took a good look at her and I must say, I’m kinda in love. I have always loved Frankie every sense G1 so here are a few of my pros and cons. I really enjoy the color scheme that they kept and the doll itself is built very well. Her hair wasn’t as horrendously glued down as some of the others and I also enjoy how tall she is! However, I was a little disappointed with the fact she doesn’t have her neck bolts anymore as that was a signature Frankie piece. Another things was how large her head is, I don’t know why it just seems bigger. Anyways overall it’s an amazing doll and I recommend!
I’m not a fan of reboots; the essence is ordinarily lost in translation, BUT this may be the exception. At first I was on the fence about the new core MH line. Certain characters like Lagoona, Deuce, and Ghoulia changed dramatically which raised doubt. I chose to unbox Frankie to get a hands on feel of the new line. I LOVE that they added upper torso articulation! I LOVE that the hands, limbs, neck and jawline features are closer to realistic than the OG line. The peg pins holding the limbs together are more solid than OG line, and the plastic still has that soft touch feel to it. The hair is about the same, perhaps a little waxier than OG line, but still decent at the price point which has not changed. Although worth noting that the dolls no longer come with the ... Blew my expectations about of the water. Frankie was the doll I was the most hyped doll and it lived up the expectations. I don't like the package design compared to the G1 and the fact the G3 box has space for a stand but does not come with one bogged my mind. And way too many plastic tags for my liking especially the ones on the head of the doll, it was like surgeon level skill to snip those ones off. But that criticism is more at designers at Mattel than Walmart. As somebody who grew up with the first generation of the Monster High dolls I can say I absolutely love G3. There’s so much inclusivity with every character, which makes everyone feel represented. The reason to why I chose Frankie was because I can just relate to them so much. I love seeing LGBTQ+ and disabled representation in media, and seeing this doll I just knew I had to get them. The quality of the dolls are just fantastic, with every small detail and such. I would highly recommend these dolls for anybody! Wether it may be a new generation of kids or old time fans! The doll itself is pretty cool. Her hands bend at the wrists and her elbows bend too. Her wide based shoes help to make her stand on her own for a few seconds which was exciting for my 5 year old. The sunglasses are easily put on and are chunky material so they should hold up really well. The dog is adorable and she loves the purse accessory. We were not thrilled with the jacket because it is very hard to out on with her fingers the way they are spread and the cuffed jacket sleeve. The backpack also doesn't fit on her because her arms don't bend enough to get the 2nd one in. You may be able to force it but I didn't want to break it. She will just wear it on one shoulder in our house. The backpack does open so that's a fun feature.

So no more toothpick arms that pop out of the joints when you move their arms. Frankie's boots were really easy to get on and off, which given the feet were made a little bit bigger, was a nice surprise.If you have any of the older dolls, your clothes and shoes will more than likely not work for the newer ones due to the newer ones being bigger, which is great for younger kids/teens to see instead of the stick like older dolls.
