I received this product complimentary from Moroccanoil. To start off this product smells absolutely amazing. I love the smell of all of their products which makes it a lot easier to consistently use them. My hair is naturally curly, but after using this product, my curls were definitely more defined and bouncier. I love the way that it just absorbs easily into your hair and lathers, each strand without leaving your hair, greasy or oily. I definitely noticed that my hair is less frizzy after using this product. I love everything about this product, the smell, the texture, and its overall performance. I would definitely recommend to anyone that has curly hair and wants to define their curls in the simplest way possible.

Amazing stuff. I have midback, medium density, fine wavy hair. I want definition without losing body or having stiff hair. I used this after the hydrating shampoo, conditioner, and leave in. I used about 4 pumps of it. Maybe a bit too much. Finger raked, combed with wide tooth comb, lightly scrunched, then microplopped. No other hold product. My waves shone through and my hair stayed touchable and soft. It did not tighten my waves or shrink them up the way strong hold products do, but it defined them and kept my natural body and pattern all day without frizz. Exactly what I have been looking for.
It does a good job at holding my curls! It smells good too! I did notice that it does dry a little crunchy but after I fluff my hair, the crunch goes away and my hair is left very soft and bouncy. The first time I used it, I diffused my hair and my hair was a bit frizzy. I also never diffuse my hair so iām not well versed on how to use the diffuser. It definitely could have been user error on my part and not the product. I also learned to use very little of this product. I used a bit too much my first time and left my hair a little greasy the next day. I use only about a dime sized amount (if even!) for my whole head and it does the job! Would definitely recommend this product and will be buying again in the future!

It did kind of overpower my perfume, but if anything that could be a good thing. I was trying to reverse damage while defining waves, as I was going to donate it. I was able to donate 2-3 feet of that hair, and whoever has it now must love it because this stuff worked wonders. Only problem is now that thereās no damage and my hair is now low porosity, i can no longer use it otherwise I can weigh my hair down. Itās probably a protein sensitivity. Gifted by Moroccan Oil in exchange for my honest review. I will start with the negative of this cream: the scent. I think itās very perfume-y and not particularly my taste in scent. Itās like a floral mixed with soap and even that sounds nicer than it is. Scent aside, I love this cream. It gave me such defined curls without sacrificing volume or creating a piece look. My curls were full and defined without looking wet or piecey or having too many clumps. Even better, the curls lasted for 4 days. Usually my hair turns wavy after the second day and I need to do something else with it or wash it again. Thankfully I get a lot more wear out of my hair with my this. I havenāt used many products from Moroccan Oil, but this is definitely a great one to have started with.
I bought this cream in early April when I redeemed my Moroccanoil birthday gift set freebie online. I got the mini size which is still a good amount of product if you're not using it everyday.I find the curling cream works pretty well. My curls are more prominent under my hair and wavier on top and this cream helps manage my hair and make everything look more cohesive and less messy. For me the cream works best on wet hair and doesn't leave my hair looking oily. My hair texture feels soft, not crunchy. The scent is the original scent which I love but maybe not ideal for work places that promote a strong scent free zone. I don't really use the cream on next day hair but will use the Moroccanoil oil to tame frizz and rejuvenate my waves.
I've tried A LOT of different curly hair products, and I find myself always coming back to this one. Just recently bought the styling cream (pump bottle) from them, and it's not even close to the same, unfortunately. Will be repurchasing this again once that other bottle runs out.I use this mixed with Chi Silk, and then style, then Cake mousse to hold the curls. šš»Makes super soft and untangled curls while still being defined. I have a bad habit of running my hands through my hair, and this helps prevents breakage or frizz.
