I am using the shampoo with the corresponding conditioner. The Moroccanoil Treatment Hair Oil is one of my go-to products, I absolutely love it and have wanted to try some other things. My hairdresser recommended this to me based on the fact I don’t have weakened, damaged, or dry hair, and using the moisture repair or hydrating options would likely weigh my hair down. My hair is naturally straight, fine strands, but many of them. However, it does feel like it’s thinning a bit. I have no complaints about this shampoo thus far. The scent is not overwhelming. It’s refreshing. The packaging I like that shampoo bottle is blue. So I don’t mix up the shampoo conditioner. It’s great for winter when my hair is dry. I myself have fine hair. My daughter has curly/wavy but also fine hair. This is a better fit for her. It’s not heavy when applying shampoo . It’s got a great lather. It’s a good value for the $. But for fine hair is weighs it down

BEWARE

After using this product for a week my hair went from very healthy to dry and brittle. The scent is nice but is a little strong. I've used the hair mask before once a week and really liked it so I thought trying the shampoo would make a difference I was wrong. My hair became very frizzy and unmanageable. I also noticed my baby hairs around my scalp became very brittle and now I'm noticing a lot of breakage near the roots of my hair at the top of my head. For someone that uses no heat besides a blow dryer here and there should have no breakage. BEWARE this product may cause damage to your beautiful hair 😪

Can’t get over the smell!

This is my new favorite shampoo. I’ve been using harmful shampoos (with sulfates, phosphates, etc) for my whole life until recently (about a year ago) and I’ve noticed such a change in my hair. My hair stylist uses these products and I loved how it made my hair feel so I had to get them. First off, the smell is unbelievable! This product doesn’t leave any buildup residue so it leaves my hair feeling light, bouncy and smooth. I love not having my hair feeling weighted down and greasy all the time. The only thing I wish would work better is the extra volume factor in this shampoo. I do notice a little bit of a difference from this one vs the other shampoos, but it is nothing that produces “extra volume”. Covid

I have had 2 bad episodes with Covid. I have lost a lot of hair and it bothers me. I should not complain, I am not going through chemo. I have always had nice thick hair. Not at the moment. I love your products and I think that the shampoo might be helping. Doesn’t work well and bad customer service

I was very excited to order and try the volumizing shampoo and conditioner as I have used the hydrating hair mask for the past year and the repair shampoo and condition before. I loved how they both smelled and worked with my hair. I wanted to try the volumizing line as my hair is on the finer side. This line is completely different than the other products I have tried from Morrocanoil. The shampoo left my hair dry and didn’t smell good at all. The conditioner was also just mediocre. Nothing worth $75 a bottle. I was super excited about getting my big Morrocanoil liters but overall the product and the service were not nearly as luxurious as I thought them to once be! Maybe older shampoo? Won’t go thru pump very well

I love this line of products, but on my first full-size bottle of shampoo, I can’t get the shampoo to move through the pump. Customer support was great about sending a new pump but now that I’ve had my third pump and it’s still not moving through very well, I think I’ve got old product. I have a travel size of the same formula and there’s definitely a difference in the consistency. Very disappointing because now I just have to find another delivery system for my bottle.

Not good for fine hair

I bought this to try as I have fine hair. I haven't even been able to finish the bottle. This has made my hair extremely dry even with using conditioner on the ends. But also my roots super greasy. Makes no sense I know but believe me. I made sure all the shampoo was washed out and kept conditioner yo the ends, with a very small amount on top just so I could get a brush through it. But my hair felt awful. So dry and straw like But greasy roots. It's a shame but in the ends I've gone back to my hairdressers shampoo and normality has been restored. I personally wouldn't recommend if you have thin hair.

Thank You, My Alexa - You Got That Right!

I happened upon trying this fabulous shampoo while at an overnight stay with my 14 year old Granddaughter, Alexa. I wondered why this shampoo and its cream rinse partner was in HER shower. I should have known - one day, she’ll be makeup and hair artist to the stars! She likes what she likes and spends much of her babysitting money on hair and makeup products. So, I gave it a try! After blow drying it out, she said, “Grandma, you used my Moroccanoil Shampoo didn’t you? I can tell!” She was right - volume like I hadn’t seen before!

This Makes Your Hair Dried Than The Sahara

I bought the Moroccan Oil Extra Volume Oil shampoo and conditioner after moving into a place with not the best water. I have a lot of hair, but it's thin(and extremely dry) thanks to a vitamin deficiency. After using these products a couple times, got so dry - it started to break. It took me YEARS to be happy with my hair again, and I feel like I'm back at square one. I have a small patch that sticks straight out, because of the breakage from this stuff. In a desperate moment, I ran over to CVS to get a deep conditioner to save my hair. Save your money, and you hair. Stay away!
