Moroccanoil Texture Clay, 75 ml

Let's start by saying that I've tried lots of putties, clays, gels, and sprays on my hair. My hair can be heavy in one area and thin in others so it will be difficult to manage at every chance it gets. However, this Clay is where it's at I'm telling you. This stuff I will put a little tiny bit in my hane maybe a dime's worth no more than a nickel, because now than a nickel would be overkill. And it just seems to work like magic. I like the piece-y textured look. This is not the best product for that. Very hard to work with and can leave hair clumped together and white if not used sparingly. It does give a decent-ish hold and it smells lovely. However, I honestly don't think I'll even finish the tub as I don't enjoy using it. For the price of it - I don't think it's worth it.

Product gives: matte/natural finish, very controlled strong hold and textured look, amazing against sweat, humidity and rain, great in all hair types but especially for pin straight dense very fine hair like mine, smell doesn’t play a role when applied in hair and should have no worries about it unless you stick your nose in the jar, washed out very easily, emulsifies in hands and applies in hair very smoothly with ease (with as fine and light of hair as mine it tugs some in completely dry hair but also allows for amazing hold. Best Texture clay in the Market

This product is best for thin and wavy hair type. I style a messy fringe with this product and it works extremely well. U do need to pair it with a sea salt spray for more hold tho. Excellent product

I'm a middle age male with short/medium straight fine hair. This texture clay is an excellent product for my hair and needs. A little goes a long way. The hold I'm experiencing during the day is medium/strong and pliable, perfect for my needs. I'm also surprised at how volumizing this clay is on its own. Its not greasy and it easily washes out in the shower with or without shampoo. I also noticed my hair looks and feels healthier when using this product. My only complaint is the scent. Its strong and it leans feminine. It's not a deal breaker for me, but it's enough of an issue that I will continue to search for something similar that has a more mild masculine/neutral scent. It’s good but beware

It’s good for hold but it’s going to make your hair stiff . My hair looks good but when I touch it it feels horrible. Second it broke me out . Make sure to remove it the same day you apply after you come back from outside. I got cysts all around my hairline and in my scalp . I don’t think I am going to use it . Even if I use it I will do double cleanse as soon as I come back from outside.

Not the right mix

Looking for a grooming compound to replace Joe Grooming Compound which has consistency and look of slightly firm sour cream (do not taste!).My hair is fine and straight and short. I want to give it more volume and sometimes a spikey look.Unfortunately this product is not what I wanted or still need.

Quality control?

I have been using this product for years, it's creamy, soft and pliable at first but air is not it's friend so it dries out a bit by the time you get to the bottom. I'm used to that. A little goes a long way to help spike my short pixie cut. This product arrived with a loose lid so was already dried out when I received it. Customer service was great - I sent a pic and they sent a replacement which I just received today. Guess what? The lid is loose and the product is hard and dried out again. I don't understand why whoever packages this can't double check to make sure the lid is on tight. Either that, or it needs sealed foil covering the product. Now I'm stuck with two dried out tubs of texture clay. But that's the effect this clay gives, that second day lived in look, but yet very natural.The Hold is truly amazing in it!Because it's light, and perfect for fine hair as it swells the hair, you can layer this product for more hold.Start with a little amount, and add a little more if needed.It's super versatile.. I apply it after I dry my hair, and I only use a little (about the size of a dime). It takes some work to rub between my palms for application, but once you get some friction going it spreads well. There are many different ways you can apply it, but I like to give my hair a quick sweep on top from back to front, and then build volume in my roots going front to back. The end result is a voluminous, piece-y look without significant shine (there's a touch, and I'd put it somewhere between true matte and natural shine).
