I’m a very disappointed in this. For jacket potatoes it is a slight improvement on simply microwaving (not difficult!) - the skins get browned if in contact with the metal but not at all crispy. Tried a burger which was more ‘steamed’ than anything else and only tasted ok. Where another reviewer finds frozen quarter pound burgers that fit the indentations I’d love to know - the one pictured is a famous brand - couldn’t really take a tape measure. Eggs were ‘odd’. An expensive way to have a quick, small, cooked but far from exciting potato. ☹️

This is a great little device for cooking eggs in a microwave that don’t taste like eggs cooked in the microwave! I've been using this for a few weeks now, mostly for the small pot. It's incredibly handy for burgers and eggs, saving taking out larger frying pans etc.In under three minutes, eggs are well cooked and a nice consistency, with a slight crisp finish.Burgers take a bit longer with two frozen quarter pounders cooked in about 8 minutes, nicely browned and cooked through. The saving for me is on taking out say a griddle pan. Unfortunately I only have one and if you use it twice it does need to be rested. This is fine for making say 4 burgers or 4 eggs and would be plenty for a couple, but is a stretch for a family.Looking forward to trying the larger pot with a jacket potato. This really comes into its own for snacks eg egg on toast.Washing is simple too - it ... MoreI've been using this for a few weeks now, mostly for the small pot. I can’t get my head around how or why this works but it does and it does a fantastic job! Crispy cooked food from a microwave just seems impossible but here it is and it is delicious. From eggs to backed potatoes to Brussels sprouts to sausage rolls, it all comes out cooked and crispy, even oven tanned. Glad I bought this and not an air fryer.
I bought this about a month ago , it made me eat eggs more often, I start with cherry tomatoes and cut onions first, then I add my eggs and spices and the eggs turn out perfectly cooked, the white is cooked and the yellow is barely cooked just as i like it , excellent. You can control how much you cook your eggs. If you overcook them of course they will dry .
I have only used it for cooking eggs so far and I am still getting the timings right. They mostly end up with hard yolks but I will keep working on it. I do like the way they cook and come out easily and cleanly. I did try a baked potato and although I used the advised timings the potato barely got warm so will have to try again with that one. I do like it though and I know I will be using it a lot more in the future. It is a very sturdy piece of equipment and, I am sure, it will last for ever.
I’ve been using his for about a month now, trying different things to see what works best. This morning I cracked a couple of eggs straight into it, added a few spices, a quick mix and in 2 mins I had two beautiful light and fluffy souffléd eggs. No other pots and pans required, so less washing! Definitely a really good buy for someone like me who is trying to be healthy and lose a little weight. The only downside is, that you will need to figure out the timings for each thing you’re trying to make. But once you’ve mastered that there’s no stopping you! Love it!
Takes as long to cook anything as you might conventionally. No chance of getting a runny egg yolk and a set white. The browning only occurs in contact with the metal. Expensive and I can see no advantage to this over traditional methods.
Smaller than I had expected; potatoes came out reasonably well, but be mindful of size, so they fit with the lid on. Now trying to get the eggs right; could have played tennis with my first attempt.
I have only used this once, I wanted to cook egg, bacon and beans, the toast I did in the conventional way using my toaster.Well, all I can say is it was a disaster, the eggs were like bullets and bacon undercooked. I finished the beans in a microwave pot. I followed the instructions.
