I cannot say enough good things about this Motorola Edge 40 it is slim, light and has some very good features like the screen which is very bright vibrant colours the fingerprint sensor works every time the sound is really clear. The Bluetooth connects flawlessly and is very stable. I do not do any gaming so cannot comment on that side of things. The camera is as good as my previous Oppo Find 3 and I love the way with a couple of twists of the wrist the camera switches on no faffing about to open the phone then open the camera. I also like the double Karate chop and the torch comes on very handy on a dark night when you need to see the key hole to get into the house. I don't usually go for premium phones. My previous one was the Motorola G50. Decided to splash out a bit this time.So far I am really pleased with my choice. Thinner than my previous phone it is lighter to carry, charges very quickly using the supplied charger and has a good screen resolution. Fingerprint unlocking works better than previous phones I have had. The NFC chip location takes a bit of getting used to otherwise haven't had any problems with connectivityHas to be said the Motorola trade in didn't offer me the best price, so shop around if you have an old phone to trade in

Not the best phone I've ever owned, the screen locks up all the time, the tones are horrible, it's bad for phone reception connection also wifi takes along time to switch over or conect. You will need to buy accessories online eg. screen protector and cases and the screen protectors never fit and fall off once the case is pushed on! (not a Motorola issue I guess). either way I wouldn't buy another one. All in all strong phone and built for purposes.
Had this phone for a few weeks now. It runs really well and has all the features I need without the exorbitant price tags of other Apple, Google and Samsung phones. Great size feels, good in hand, the camera does photos and videos that are in my opinion, great! My only gripe is the ambient light sensor is on the back so if you put the phone down or have a flip cover it causes the auto brightness to dim the screen. You can just set the screen manually so it's not a big deal. Definitely a safe buy if you want a great affordable phone.
I think this is a really fantastic phone, my first Motorola smartphone. As a novice I appreciate the on screen pop up tips to help get the best out of different features. All the work is done for you, with easy to use texting, great layout for contacts. The speed is more than I've previously experienced, a highly detailed camera and excellent sound. Another plus is that this phone looks after your security, as a suspected spam call was alerted, giving the choice to answer or not. Still lots to learn, but loving it.
Good Points: The phone is perfect apart from one huge flaw that Motorola have admitted to me can't or won't be changed. The audio has a forced "background noise reduction" for audio. This isn't the same as the ordinary one you can turn off - it's hard coded and cannot be disabled. Audio during calls or any recording is AWFUL. The hard coded reduction is not present during videos.Improvement Points: The phone is perfect apart from one huge flaw that Motorola have admitted to me can't or won't be changed. Good Points: Fast. Bright screen. Large storage. Excellent camera although I do desaturate the pics. Nice feel. Long battery life. Very quick charging. Water resistant.Improvement Points: Either have an option to desaturate before taking pics or innately make them less saturated.
Overall I haven't encountered any serious issues/bugs yet. Im satisfied with the phone and the Price/Performance ratio is very good. Coming from a Xiaomi Device (POCO X3 Pro) with MIUI, the OS that is on the EDGE 40 Neo is also much better in my opinion because you don't get all the bloatware, ads and so on that you get on the MIUI. If you want the best Android phone for your Money at this point of time (November '23) I think that this is a very solid option. The biggest negative point for me is the Battery Life that could in my opinion be better and I hope will be extended with future updates.
