$4.45 for a total 14 seeds! I was in shock. Tore the packet apart looking for the rest. But nope... there was only 14 measly little seeds. VERY disappointed.

I consider myself the queen of germination, with a grow room set up I have perfect success but these did not germinate. They are crap. I planted the red and white alpine same time and they all germinated. Do not buy these

Didn’t work, tried 3 packs hoping for a huge supply for smoothies not 1 worked! So disappointing. I will only ever buy the punnets now for strawberries in future!

I've had a blast reading the negative reviews here. I hope that the queen of germination finds out about cold stratification one of these days.Strawberries need cold treatment or they won't germinate. If you rush home with your strawberry seed packet and tip them out on the ground and wet them, you're going to be disappointed and it isn't the seeds' fault.Folks, get your seeds, leave them in the packet, put them in the freezer for 2-4 weeks, take them out and let them come back up to room temperature, then use them. That's it. Not a complicated process at all. Loads of plants have a period of embryonic dormancy, and won't germinate until going through and coming out of this phase. They leave this to you so they're sown right after their dormancy is broken rather ... MoreI've had a blast reading the negative reviews here. They leave this to you so they're sown right after their dormancy is broken rather than being left on a shelf somewhere. It's right there on the packet. Pretty easy.Other things to note, strawberry germination rates are not amazing, so not all of them will sprout, this is normal and true of these as well. They also typically take a long time to emerge. Three or four weeks. As many as five or even six depending on the temperature. This, too, is normal. Be patient.About half of mine have sprouted so far after three weeks, there might yet be more to emerge over the next fortnight. This variety don't put out runners and have a long-ish cropping season, so I'm looking forward to getting them into containers, which I am told they are well suited for, so I can have strawberries around the place.Don't be discouraged from giving these a try - just don't skip the freezer bit.
I bought these because no strawberry plants were in stock. There were so few I planted them all. They failed to germinate. Waste of money.
None of the seeds germinated! I chilled the seeds and tried to germinate them in germination kit and pots but that did not help.
I bought this 2 weeks ago and was shocked that only 25 seeds (extremely small) were included. I could hardly find them in the bottom corner of the sachet !! Can you please be a bit more generous with this !!
Was hoping to have a strawberry infestation but not even one germinated.Maybe it's me, but unless you're an advanced gardener, maybe give these a miss. You're better off buying a couple of puneted
I bought a pack of these to add some strawberries to my garden, I was a bit shocked when I got home and realised the pack only came with 25 seeds but I figured since I only want like 10 plants it should be fine. I planted all 25 Seeds and got a grand total of 0 plants. I wish I had read the reviews before buying...
All the reviews here are saying they didn’t germinate or only 1 but they do! Although it’s in small writing on the packet it recommends they should be chilled/in freezer before planting-after some research I found it that they need 2 weeks in the freezer I’m assuming is to stimulate seasons changing for them to wake up. Make sure you chill them!I managed to get 6 plants to germinate indoors(with grow light) for a bit then outdoors for the rest.
