low wattage. good for casual game. no problem at all. even generic psu can handle this graphics card. but I recommend using true rated with verified certificate from website that certified. no need 6+2 pins for this graphics card. very low power consuption.

Don't be swayed from buying a 3050 card from the negative reviews out there. This is a great card. My other system has an AMD Radeon RX 580 with 8GB of VRAM which is what I consider optimum for today's gaming just like 16GB is the optimum for RAM. So the 3050 falls in price with the AMD 6500, but that card has 4GB of VRAM. Then I compared it with the 6600 but the 3050 has DLSS which is a feature that modern games are supporting so I wanted to try it out. I can't complain. I was surprised of the performance of the RX 580 and it's all due to the 8GB of VRAM. The 3050 gives even higher framerates given it's a newer card also with 8GB of VRAM. And it does so much quieter than the 580. I pushed it to the max with Unigine Heaven and 3DMark and it kept its cool. I am playing Red Dead Redemption 2 right now and it holds 60 fps without problems at 1080p Medium settings with DLSS on. So it plays great and looks fantastic. Definitely this card will replace the RX 580 when GPU prices drop a bit closer to original launch retail price and I can upgrade to a 3060 Ti to start exploring 1440p. But for 1080p this card is a really good option.

First time computer builder. Built it for my son’s birthday as he had been asking for one for a while. This worked out perfectly! Great value for the price. It was also highly recommended by a friend to choose this brand and model. He was right, it’s been performing at top level and my son hasn’t been happier since! Thank you!

Best GPU upgrade in years, it replaced my dying 1650 super 4gb card. And the price was good as well. I can play most of my games in 4k with 0 issues. Fable Anniversary in 4k is just stunning, Skyrim AE in 4k and GTA V/ online are visually stunning as well . I also now enjoy all my videos and movies in 4k.
Slapped into an 11 year old rigs pcie3 port along with Linux Mint and some new thermal paste. Breathed new life into it, Minecraft graphics bumped to raytraced shaders from potato. Study pc for kids, may it last another 7 years!
For a budget GPU, this is a great option for 1080p gaming. Note that this is the 8GB variant and NOT the 6GB. When looking at this model make sure you get the 8GB version because the 6GB version has a 20% performance dip.Overall this can handle 1080p gaming and would just need to adjust video settings depending if you want more detail or more frames.
The RTX 3050 8GB is a good lower midrange card, but make sure you get the 8GB version. The 6GB is not even the same chip, even thought they share a name and has worse performance. If you catch it on sale it's a good buy, but there are better choices if its not. RX 6600 is a fair bit faster for usually less.
Overall, the RTX 3050 is a good choice for those who are looking for reasonable performance at a low price. Although, it may not be the best choice for those who are looking to play the latest and most demanding games at the highest settings or even play at more than 100 FPS s the RTX 3050 enough for gaming? Yes, the RTX 3050, as an entry-level GPU is good enough for gaming with a low budget. With this graphics card, you'll be able to play several games at 1080p with Ultra settings and high FPS
