I ran up against the great video card shortage of 2020/2021. I was running a gtx 680 in a PC I built in 2012. It began failing and having compatibility issues with newer software (such as latest versions of Premiere Pro CC). I could only render in software mode.Anyhow, I needed to upgrade but could not find a decent card in stock anywhere. I eventually was able to obtain this 3060 ti from microcenter. It's not the card I wanted, but it is a massive improvement over the 680 and any older cards. I highly recommend this card for the price - it's a great value compared to the higher-end cards.I cannot talk about game framerates, etc., as I have not had much time for that since purchasing. Video rendering is crazy fast compared to my old card.Good value unless you are looking for top-end gaming!

I see many people hate on this card in the review. I don't like this card due to it's ordinary design, but I really don't regret buying it after a week of gaming. This gpu clock can boost up to 1930 and remain 70oC with 2000 rpm fan speed. This is actually really impressive. True, this card doesn't have fancy design nor cool RGB lights, but it can handle any AAA title on ultra graphic at 1080P. This card is a OC monster, even it does not come with a super cool and long name nor looking. It is definitely top of the line performance in the 60ti family, get it if you could.

I paid $449 for this and honestly I regret it. Has very little OC headroom and has fixed power limits. However, it doesn't spin its fans until it reaches about 60°C so it does stay quite quiet. At full blast, with about 100% usage, expect the card to reach. When stressing it for about 10 minutes the card peaks at around 75°C and definitely isn't the quietest with a noticable higher pitched whine from the dual-fan configuration, so if you're planning on stressing it with the latest AAA games at 100% usage you might notice it spinning up (I notice it, but I also run a more open-air setup). Doesn't take long to spin back down however. As for performance I mean yeah, it's a 2080 Super. It cowers in the shadows of it's older brothers but you can't really buy them ... Like I said, not very much OC headroom so you get what you get. Works pretty great for VR provided the game is optimized well enough and kicks butt everywhere else, except 4K non-DLSS. If you want higher resolution, stick to DLSS for pushing higher frames, else you'll probably be disappointed.

Ordered near the beginning of January and been using it for while now. Here are some of my observations.1. Two 8pin connector2. Dual fan not triple3. No rgb4. Not really good OC model because bios locks power level in AfterburnerRunning heaven and timespy benchmarks maxes out my gpu temp at 68 with stock fan speed. Due note I'm using a midtower (275r Airflow by corsair) so someone with a smaller case might see different temps. I hear undervolting your card can decrease temps and wattage and sustain performance but I personally run at stock. Noise was not a problem with this card. Highest the fans got were about 47% and was unnoticeable. Now if I was given a choice to rebuy this specific model my choice would be a no. I wish I had gone with one of the triple ... Temps are way better and this beefy card should not be using a double fan setup. But I had no choice because of the current situation with gpus. I just got what I could. Am I happy? Yea the card does the job no doubt.
Bought this card for a high fps 1080p gaming build. I have used it for about 3 weeks now. Performs very well in all the games I have played so far. In Doom Eternal on mostly max settings with ray tracing on at 1080p, it keeps a steady 144 fps no problem. If you don't care about ray tracing, I might suggest you look at AMD equivalent cards as they will give you a bit more fps at 1080p like the RX 6750 XT, but will be lacking when it comes to ray tracing. I'm sure this card will perform well at 1440p but you might have to turn some settings down to achieve consistent high frames on modern titles. Overall I am very happy with this card and in my opinion it is perfect for a mid-tier build!
This is by far the worst build quality GPU I've ever owned, and the thermal performance is just abysmal. Oh and don't let me get started about the fan whine.I knew I was in for trouble when picked up the card, it just feels like cheap plastic all over. It's super light and fragile, and the exposed wiring doesn't inspire confidence either. But who cares about this, as long as it performs right? well it is a 3060 ti and it performs like one, but that comes at a cost. Put this under a stress test and the temps jumped to 75C in the first few seconds, for reference I had 4 different cards in that same case from EVGA, Gigabyte and even MSI themselves and I never saw temps that high. Sure 75C isnt the end of the world but boy the fans have to work hard for it, it started ... Sure 75C isnt the end of the world but boy the fans have to work hard for it, it started to sound like a jet plane when the fans ramped all the way up to 80%. This literally never happens on stock settings on any decent card, but with a light heat sink cooling has to come from somewhere. Forget about overclocking this.Anyway if things were normal and I can just replace this with a different SKU I would, but if you're from the wonderful future where prices are sane and stock is available do yourself a favor and avoid this card.
The card is a beast. Paired it with a new Asus 27 inch 144 hz UHD (1440p) G-sync monitor. I can play ESO (old person's game) comfortably (40-50 FPS in the busiest city areas) on Ultra settings with everything maxed out. With a few minor tweaks I can get 70-144 FPS no problem. This is all on a motherboard with PCIe 3.0 slots, an overclocked CPU (i5-6600K at 4.4 Ghz), overclocked RAM (DDR3 2400), and a 750W PSU that are all 5 years old. The 3060 replaced a 6 year AMD Radeon R9 390 (RIP old buddy).Quiet and cool, never exceeds 68 degrees Celsius under full load with a custom fan curve. I do have a spacious tower with a lot of room.Overclocked using MSI Afterburner. After a fair amount of testing, settled on +160 core +1150 memory with the core voltage and power ... Yeah, the price is still high with the chip shortage, but I can't recommend this card enough if you're getting into gaming. I playon a 1440p ultrawide monitor, and it can play eSports games (like CSGO, Rocket League, Valorant) at incredible framerates without taking too much VRAM. Newer games on medium settings looks so good too. This model, in particular, isn't the flashiest card out there, but the noise levels are minimal and the performance is just superb. Definitely a card for all newcomers into PC building once the price drops to a reasonable rate!
Fine. If you are desperate and you won the shuffle, get it. It is still a 3060ti that can run most games on high/ultra settings. However, the price/performance ratio is horrible on this card. It is supposed to be a budget card, but MSI inflated the price and now it is a lot more expensive than some counterparts from other AIBs, while performing worse! The most annoying part of this card is that, since the card heats up quickly, you will have to crank up the fan. However, if you push the fan speed to 75% or higher, it will produce some sort of grinding noise, which really, REALLY annoys me. Therefore, I can only lower it to 65-70% most of the time to avoid it, which makes the card heats up to 80c, and sometime even higher. Overall, MSI failed this one. I'd suggest ... MoreFine. I'd suggest EVGA/ASUS cards since they performs better, cools better, and overall just better quality (they looks better too IMO). Hell, even FE and Zotac cards are better. This card just had so many cons that I cannot recommend it vs other 3060TIs. However, if you don't have a choice, go ahead and buy it. It is still a 3060ti.
A strong card, but a bit overpriced compared to most of the FE Nvidia cards for what you get ( (hence the 3/5 stars). If you're from the future where GPUs are easy to get and this thing is still nearly $700, look for other options. But if this thing is available during a drop and you want a 30 series card, grab it.If you can manage to get your hands on one of these while the GPU market is still a mess, don't think twice, since this thing still performs like a 3060ti should.
