So I got the motherboard and was very excited to get it up and running. After getting everything plugged in I found that I got multiple error codes. I checked the connections and still no luck. I unplugged everything and took the ram and CPU out, after inspecting it I found that the CPU slot has misformed holes for the pins, took a look at the CPU and found that I now have bent pins on my Ryzen 9 3900X. Reinstalled my MSI X570 MEG ACE. Now I'm getting the same error codes from that motherboard as well. Check the socket before installing your CPU or you could end up buying a new CPU due to MSI's poor quality control.

dont listen people talking crap about this mobo, start from the price how much you are willing to pay for this you are getting the premium no matter what. I bought this for my first and the next 10y pc so I was looking for the best mobo and this is one of the best, and this is the only mobo that you can have. This mobo have a small screen which also displays with full text whenever you have a error code. when intsalling happened to me to have the bios updated, on the screen was saying cpu error, then when I flashed the bios it was giving me another code saying DDM ram error something, and one of my ram sticks wasnt plugged in all the way. Imagine if you have just the error code you gotta google it up, and no promises you will have the true answer abt that, people ... I wanted to test the boundaries of building a higher end Ryzen 9 consumer box and compare it to my pro development servers. This board and build has been rivaling our mid tier data server with a build price that was between half to one third of the cost. There are some small trade offs, but those are mostly related to the CPU and the known trade offs with using a Ryzen consumer chip over a professional grade. I did have some server system driver support issues in Linux. Sure, ninjas may not be as professional, but they are a lot more fun. This is an eATX board, it will not fit in an ATX case. Plan your system case accordingly, it should have at least a window so that you can view the feedback display screen. This board does come with a LAN 10 adapter, an NVME extension panel, and wifi antenna in the box.I did not overpower the board and am running with only a single 8 pin power rail on a 350w power supply. I went with air cool from noctura and room heat generation has stayed in the mid to low 70's, which is great for a consumer product that is crunching data nonstop.

The board is appears to be well made and has a nice heft to it. However my enthusiasm quickly disintegrated. BIOS is oddly lagging when using a mouse. This is exacerbated by the fact that some areas of the BIOS (ie fan control) can only be used with the mouse. RGB lighting control is completely absent in the BIOS. To say MSI's Dragon Center software is a mess would be a understatement. Downloaded the software from MSI's website. The installer then proceeds to install a UWP (aka Windows store program). This in turn requires you to download and install an SDK, which is not an UWP. Once all this is done, the application then downloads the various modules for the motherboard. Sadly I could not avoid installing this, for the previously mention lack of RGB control within the boards BIOS. All seamed well with the system and with a Ryzen 9 3900X installed the performance had been fantastic. At the end of the second day, I left the system up and running overnight. Windows 10 was busy doing what Windows does. That is to say, downloading updates and stupid games that i will delete and never play. The next morning I found the system completely dead. No fans or diagnostic LEDs. I found the system would not power up with any CPU installed. I tried several. Without the CPU it would power on and tell me the expected CPU error. Sadly this board suffered infant mortality. I've been around long enough to not get upset at electronics dying in the first few days. These things happen. However because of the extreme agitation caused by MSI's software and firmware, I decided I would simply return the board to Newegg. This is the first MSI product I have purchased in decades, having been burned before back in the AMD Athlon slot A era. It may be awhile before I give them another chance.
There's a reason they call it Godlike. First of all, it looks insanely gorgeous. There were no cutting corners here! The Godlike boards have simply everything and more. Comes bundled with a fan- cooled M2 exp card, as that wasn't enough it also comes with 10G Lan exp card on top of the 2 Killer ports it already has, I know Insane. It is also one of the few boards with 4 PCI slots, today there are hardly any of them. This helps a lot with the high end 3 slot RTX cards in SLI out there as you have a slot in between them to prevent throttling due to being to close together which is a HUGE problem on every other MB configuration out there that's not water-cooled.The OLED onboard is also very helpful as you can just take a quick peek anytime you want to know ... They are quite weak and kind of disappear around the ambience of the other RGB's (Fans, strips etc). It's a shame with all the components I cant see all of the Godlike, but that's the way it is :)TLDR;Basically, if you want the best of the best and willing to spend extra for it, Become GODLIKE!
There's a few reasons as to why I chose this over all other products that support AMD 3th gen. Previously, I had the 'MSI MEG Z390 GODLIKE' right before purchasing this product so I already knew how well the MSI MEG was made. I expected only a slight improvement or similar as the previous. But oh mannnn was I wrong. It is sooo much better. I want to call it the Lamborghini of all motherboards. The Z390 GODLIKE was already the best but IT GOT EVEN BETTER. Overclocking is so much easier on this product that you can just choose the number that you want. You don't need to know about voltage or anything, because it does it for you. And you know, GODLIKE is known as the best overclocking motherboard. I don't know about you guys but I love the Killer network products. This ... And you know, GODLIKE is known as the best overclocking motherboard. I don't know about you guys but I love the Killer network products. This product has two Killer LAN with one Killer wifi. All three of them can work together simultaneously. So if you have 100Mbps and you're playing games, but you also want to update or download window, update, or any other app updates, you can use the full speed of the internet to download while also getting a low and stable ping when you're playing games. This product also has Nahimic, which can help you hear the game sound better and more powerful without hurting your ears. Not only in the game that I use it but I also use it for Nexflix or any videos with low volume. It can give you dramatic sounds too. There's a lot of things about this product but those things were what made me purchase this product. And I'm so glad that I chose this and have not regret it one bit.
Bought this board after reading all the specs. Half the specs originally posted were incorrect. This board can barely dual slip and definitely cannot quad SLI. Company fixed that statement after I called and complained. Has all the other features but no matter your traffic card setup if you populate any of the NVME slots you only get 4x pcie even though all pcie slots are rated for 16x kinda false and useless if y out re building a editing rig and a gaming rig in one. Strong beautiful board with lots of options if you don't mind not being able to use any if you fully populate all the NVME slots.
This is the first negative experience I've had with an MSI product. (Admittedly out of only like 3 products purchased, I think.) Maybe they got a bad batch of components from a supplier or something. But would I buy this particular product again? No. And I must admit to feeling a little gun shy on buyimg future MSI products. Sadly, the product is out of warranty, but well within the expected lifespan of a motherboard this expensive.
This mobo won so many over clock competitions I had read and had to have it. This board is so beautiful mounted. I mounted it side ways so I can appreciate the on screen digital display that plays fun gifs. It has an over clock nob that you can pre set in dragon center. Can really take gaming to the next level and productivity when you need to activate your cpu cores and speed for processing. Highly reccomend. Future proof for sure. Multiple m2 heat sinks. Comes with so many attachment cards. They just came out with a driver that can read all 4 gpu slots if you wanted. Legit mobo
I had this board in my current gaming rig for over a year now. The name says it all. I mean really name another board where you can have 10TBs of M.2 alone before you even have to start with the 6 2.5 ssds. Overall a very well built board by MSI. This is my 5th build and this is the best board I have used so far. What I really like is the fact that now that the 5000 series ryzen chips are out I can easily upgrade. the Chipset never goes above 50c even while under the most demanding load and overclocking is a breeze even for 1st time overclockers. the only issue I had in the beginning is with dragon software but MSI has fixed that also that it is a breeze.
