The other brand was out of stock, so I tried this. It is a high-quality product, made from whole goat's milk. It comes in a slim air-tight plastic container, but it contains an entire pound of goat's milk. The ingredients list is not complicated--it's dried powdered whole-fat goat's milk. There is a non-fat version also available. This is much more digestible than cow's milk. I put it in my coffee or tea instead of regular cow's milk. It also makes a great supplement for cats or dogs, since cow's milk is not good for them but goat's milk is safe (but ask your vet first). It also works well in recipes that require milk. It is of course not for vegans, but if your non-meat diet includes some dairy, this is a product that is easy to recommend. One note: this milk is not a source of Vitamin D, so if you are used to getting Vitamin D in your milk, you will have to supplement another way.

Studies show that goat's milk is more easily digested by humans than is cow's milk. But I've never been able to tolerate the "goat-y" taste. I typically do not drink milk, period, but I'm taking an Ayurvedic herbal supplement that recommends you take it w/ warm milk so I bought this for convenience because it was the only powdered milk that is not nonfat (I prefer "whole" foods). I have been very pleased with this product as it has virtually no goat-y taste and mixes easily in water by stirring or shaking. And, despite the label's recommendation to chill for "best taste"; it is quite delicious warm (mixed in warm water). So if you avoid milk, as I do, I highly recommend you try this as goat's milk is very nutritious, and this one is by far the best tasting I've had.

So Iāve been searching ways to consume more calcium because I realized I didnāt eat enough of it. And dairy seems to be the only good way because all the other grains and plants have lower amounts and lower absorption rates. But cow milk isnāt very healthy for you since the cows nowadays have casein A1 which has been shown by some researches that it is quite unhealthy for us humans. However, goat milk doesnāt have that and it is quite amazingly healthy. This one is fat/cholesterol free too! You actually donāt need more than around 600mg of calcium a day. The sources that tell you need more have been influenced by the dairy lobby. So yeah, this is amazing, organic, grass fed. It tastes like feta hahah. I like it a lot. And itās not lumpy. Easy to drink, itās quite refreshing. I wouldāve loved if this was cheaper š. But I guess you have to pay for good quality stuff. If this review helped, leave a like :)

We have fresh goat milk sold here but honestly this tastes way better. It doesnt have a strong smell, kinda reminds me of cow's milk. I am on to my second bottle now and am so glad that I have more in my cabinet. When i first purchased it, I bought only one, not knowing what to expect, but the quality was so good that I drank 2 cups daily and ran out of it. The ingredients are wholesome, there is no extra stuff in it, size wise, i would say it is comparable to what i can get here but it comes in a plastic bottle. I much prefer this packaging than aluminium cans. I always had a much sensitive tummy and recently my family came down with a stomach bug and surprisingly, I was the only one without any. I believe that it was due to the goat milk that I was drinking daily and my gut health was so much better as goat milk does contain prebiotics. I recommend drinking it warm, it does taste delicious.
Really taste better when chilled, the slight goaty smell is stronger when using warmer water. I couldn't get used to the goaty smell, the smell is there even with 1 teaspoon, not to mention when I used 1½ scoops, so I tried to mask its smell by mixing it with raw cacao powder, coconut milk powder, and sunflower lecithin combination or with wheatgrass and sunflower lecithin and chia seeds combination. As a result, the smell is quite hidden and also taste better with cacao than wheatgrass, such a shame because wheatgrass + coconut milk + white chia seed + sunflower lecithin together tasted so good, it didn't work for goat milk. I'll try to mix the goat milk with blueberries powder or maqui berry powder plus cacao later. However, goat milk isn't really safe for my ... MoreReally taste better when chilled, the slight goaty smell is stronger when using warmer water. Repurchase, I'm still unsure, dairy is still a challenge for my gut.
I am a 21-year-old girl, currently student, and I am committed to taking care of my health. In the past, I used to drink supermarket milk which was high in fat and sugar but low in calcium. However, my outlook has changed completely since I tried this new milk. I feel happy, healthy, and excited about incorporating it into my daily routine. My plan is to drink two cups a day, one in the morning and one in the evening. The quality of this milk is exceptional, and I love the packaging which feels luxurious and made with care. While the price is a bit high for my budget, I believe it's worth it. I use one scoop for every medium-sized cup, although the instructions suggest using two scoops. I try to make it last longer by using less. Please note that when you receive ...Ā MoreI am a 21-year-old girl, currently student, and I am committed to taking care of my health. I try to make it last longer by using less. Please note that when you receive the container, it will only be half full. The taste of this milk is rich and smooth, without any strange flavors or the smell of goat. It's not too sweet, making it a perfectly balanced option for me. I've even started to replace my coffee with it as caffeine can inhibit growth and increase anxiety. I also recommend trying it with herbs for the menstrual cycle or Ayurvedic herbs. There are two types of milk available, whole and nonfat. I chose the nonfat to protect myself from fats that may cause acne or affect my hormones. However, I'm curious about whether these fats are beneficial and plan to research scientific articles during my vacation:)!The milk is white and free of impurities. I recommend mixing it with warm water and stirring it well. Lastly, my advice is to always approach new products with hope and prayer that they will be effective and fulfill their intended purpose. In conclusion, I urge everyone to prioritize their health and the health of their loved ones. A healthy life is a life full of love. Please give me a thumbs up if you found it helpful šš»This review will be updated with your support.
I follow the instruction to make the goat milk (2 scoops & 1 cup of warm water). It tastes almost exactly like cow milk... but with the flavor of lamb. Personally I'm not a fan of tasting lamb in my milk. I'm kinda surprised because I love lamb (as seperate hot meat dish). It also makes me wonder why there is no beef flavor in cow milk. Or do I just get very used to and thus ignore it?It reads "tastes best if chilled before serving." To me, the goat milk is certainly better served cold. The jarring lamb taste is almost gone. There is only a faint taste. Again, it makes me wonder if the lamb taste should not be there in the first place when even the brand considers it "tastes best."Goat milk is not for me, but it's an interesting experience!
This company recommends the flora start multi-vitamin as part of the formula kit. The multi-vitamin contains marigold, which is a common allergen for 80% of the population. My sonās doctor determined this is the source of his severe eczema. It has been so heartbreaking to see him go through this. The first time I reached out to Mt Capra regarding a potential multivitamin replacement I was told there was no suitable option. Once we determined the source of his eczema I reached out to request a refund for the product we had ordered. It took quite a bit of time and process of elimination to get to the point of figuring things out. The company then proceeded to tell me that they could not honor a refund because it had been 63 days since the order was placed. However, I have been in communication with them regarding my sonās issues and how desperately we were trying to figure it out. I was hoping this seemingly family oriented, smaller company with greater morals than big conglomerates would be willing to honor a refund after all the troubles weāve had. they also told me in their second reply a list of replacement multivitamins, whereas in the initial response I was told there was no suitable replacement. Of course we can source a replacement on our own and with our doctor. However, again two inconsistent responses and Iām so disappointed with their response regarding a refund. It took time to determine the source of my sonās eczema. I feel this is an extenuating circumstance.
This is delicious. It tastes just like goat milk. The plastic container is more convenient than a bag. I keep it in the freezer. I add this milk to my mom's coffee when I don't add coconut milk powder. I compared goats' milk products on this site, and this one was more expensive but it is worth it because these goats are GRASS FED. That means 1. they have a better life than the goats locked in a barn their entire life; and 2. That this powder likely contains vitamin K2, which is important for heart health and bones. Only animals that are grazed on grass have K2, because they convert it from the vitamin K1 in green plants. Iam giving this 4 stars instead of 5 because a vast number of human beings are better off without dairy in the first place, and not just those that are lactose intolerant. Second because I did research on the dairy industry, and even when animals are grass fed it is still terribly cruel, because the babies are taken away from their mothers. The males are killed, since they are not needed for dairy. The mothers cry, looking for their baby, and the poor babies try to get back to their mothers.
