I tried to buy this online from A___on but it can't be shipped. Glad I found them at "Hardware and Tools" because they ship no problem. For what ever reason this Summer we had a gnat invasion in the house and garage. We tried all sorts of products. After receiving these "Strips" we decided to not use them indoors as we've indoor pets but it's possible if you follow the recommended procedure. Instead I hung two in my garage two wks ago and while I still see gnats they aren't nearly as plentiful so these strips are slowly working. That's fine as long as it works so I'm pleased with this product.

I purchased this to keep in junk drawer in the kitchen. Problems: (1) Bits are difficult to remove from shaft--pliers often needed. (2) Bit storage in handle is useless. Bits do not remain in "sleeves" and the end cap is difficult to reattach. (3) Wall hanger is useless. Not easy to remove driver from it. Overall, for $10 it will drive the occasional screw. Do not expect the quality to be anywhere near your "work" tools, i.e. Craftsman, Kobalt, Klein.

If you rarely need to change bits, this screwdriver is OK. The racketing function is nice. But keep a needle nose pliers handy to pry the heads out if you need to change.

I have had these screwdrivers for Many years for servicing rental properties & general use and just LOVE them. The rubber is so comfortable and the ratcheting mechanisms & bit holder is great! No issues with any of them.... until the newer (more plasticy) version was released. I've had 2 of these, and I think BOTH of them just had the shaft fall right out, no pressure or anything. I can't even see how it could hold into the handle. Also the new ones have either too tight of an exterior bit holder, or it's MAGNATIZED- both very bad ideas (you can't get bits out anymore). Old model rocks, new model, bad. Stanley did replace them right away, but the hard plastic is not as comfortable as the older ones that were more rubbery. Hope this helps!
There is no easy access and fast changeover of bits. Bits stored in the slots in the collar do not come out easily or quickly. The slots are so tight I have to pry them out. There is additional storage in the handle. However, the rounded triangle-shaped cap is poorly designed so the corners don't line up when closed, and cap digs into my hand.
I'm not much of a fan of ratcheting screwdrivers but I struggled to get the screws tight enough on some light switches I was helping a volunteer group install. Our lead had one of these and recommended it because it has a big enough handle for old hands to grip. He was not wrong. I have found myself using this screwdriver for other purposes besides electrical work. It has a nice selection of bits readily at hand both in the handle and up front in the drive section of the screwdriver. But therein lies the only problem with this product. The bits in the screw on handle cap are very difficult to extract ... I use a pair of needle-nose pliers to get them out. And if not pushed all the way into the cap the cap will not easily screw back on. I did not receive this product for reduced or no charge in return for this review ... paid full price.
I bought this two years ago when HD 1st stocked them I used this 3or4 times and then the magnet fell out and put it away. Then I nneded the ratcheting driver again and had to buy a second one no problem works great. My problem is now I have a $10 screw driver that's not usable to anybody. Can I please get a new magnet to glue in to make it use full for me and my crew? Iv'e been using Stanley over 50 years, probably bought 50 tape measures in my lifetime.
I bought my multi-bit ratcheting screwdriver about 15 years ago using a gift card i got when I retired. It is the best tool purchase I ever made. It is handy for virtually all household repairs as well as wood-working projects. And, in a pinch, it makes a good substitute for a drill driver if you forgot to bring that tool along. Having the right bit for any screw is a real time- and step- saver.
Very good versatile screwdriver. This is a great tool for everyone to have. It good quality, trusted brand, and very efficient. However, If you need to change screwdrivers continuously while you work this is not for you. The turning storage knob makes for a hassle when you quickly need to switch bits. The pulling out option would be a better choice. Specially if your up a latter or in a tight crawl space. That last thing you want to do is fiddle around with your tools. Other than that. It's a great tool and I'm glad I purchased it. The price is just right.
I've owned this screwdriver for several years and bought this one for a friend who admired it. It has all the features of my old one. Wide handle for increased torque, ratchet so you don't have to keep readjusting your hand position and a set of bits that are out in the open to allow fast changes of bits. The only issue is that the storage for the bits is not releasing them as easily as my old one and you have to dig them out.
