My toddler loves this potty. It’s great because it’s low to the ground, allowing for ease of getting on and off and for foot support while trying to go. I love that it’s versatile, with its ability to be used as a step stool and a potty addition to a normal toilet seat (so they don’t fall in). As for the arm and hammer insert, it seems like a good idea, but it doesn’t provide much in terms of a scent. Despite this, I highly recommend this product for anyone potty training!

potty trained my two oldest, a boy and girl, with this (in the beginning, a screen is very helpful to keep them stationary till they go). It's amazing. very easy to clean and for kids to reassemble. Unfortunately, our one year old LOVES to take this apart. however, that's not a fault of the product. We haven't had many leaks or messes, this thing usually blocks outward or sloppy streams from girls and boys. There have been a handful of minor messes but that's not a fault of the product. there's plenty of room to sit correctly on it. It's large enough for a 5yo. Mine had no issues transitioning to the grown up potty but we still keep this in the living room so the kids can go potty when I can't stop what I'm doing to help them in the bathroom. it'd also be great to ... Morepotty trained my two oldest, a boy and girl, with this (in the beginning, a screen is very helpful to keep them stationary till they go). This can also be used as an emergency vehicle potty (probably would only work inside vans but there is the side of the road too... my parents did that when I was young with a portable potty like this) for young ones. This can also be used when you're playing outside ("mommy I gotta go NOW" even though it'd mean leaving two other kids unattended to go inside type situation). I've had a couple other floor potties, but the pieces aren't as easy to reassemble or it's not as comfortable to sit on or there's just too much going on. This thing is easier to empty and clean than those molded one piece potties I imagine. The seat and pot could easily fit in the dishwasher if you so desired (even though it'd be easy to clean with a sponge or dish brush, just rinse it out after pees and you're good to go honestly).

It’s functional, but difficult for boys in early stages of potty training. As mentioned in other reviews, the opening is very small and splash guard is awkwardly positioned. When you have to move to or get on the potty quickly it’s incredibly difficult for little ones to do it themselves without being lifted over the splash guard and position properly in the hole. Definitely didn’t think about these logistics when purchasing. We were excited for the 3 functions.

I bought this specifically because it was 3-in-1 and it seemed so promising. This is not a good potty for a boy: the splash guard is too small and pee leaks from the seam below it onto the floor. The potty is too short to use as a step stool for our toilet, so my son can't even sit on the toilet by himself. The potty seat, when placed on our toilet seat, slides around TERRIBLY and doesn't grip. Why?? I'm afraid my son will fall in when he moves around and be scared of the toilet. Plus, there was NO mention that this doesn't fit an elongated toilet, so there's a big gap in the front of the toilet and the potty seat sits far back on the toilet. This potty tries to do too much and fails at each one. We hit the ground running with potty training a week ago. I love the potty chair! It’s easy to clean and sturdy. I love that it can be used as a step tool as I plan to move on to the big potty by the end of next week! We didn’t have many problems with boy pee getting outside the potty. We just stress to him to make sure his body part is inside when he sits down and he does great. He doesn’t even have to touch it or point it down. He’s learned to sit correctly so that its right where it needs to be. He’ll be 3 in a couple weeks. By the way, in my opinion, potty training with no diaper on is the way to go. He’s learned to sit correctly so that its right where it needs to be. He’ll be 3 in a couple weeks. By the way, in my opinion, potty training with no diaper on is the way to go. We started on the weekend by introducing the potty and taking his diaper off. The understanding was there but not the practice. He peed on the laminate floor three times the first day and we gently redirected him to the potty seat. After that he peed AND pooped in the potty the same day we started. Throughout this week, he’s continued to be pantsless except for bed time and naps. Today we introduced underwear and not a single accident although I completely expected it.
I like the portability of this one, the fact you can use the seat on a toilet and step stool. However, for a boy it leaks, everywhere! You end up with a puddle on the floor. Needs to have a seal somehow, very frustrating. As previously mentioned, his shorts got wet because of the leak. I have to put a thick towel down underneath the chair base and make sure his underwear and shorts are completely off. Otherwise you get wet pants no puddle on floor.
the product seems well made, and I was attracted to the multifunctional use. But the toilets ring to put on the bathroom toilet is really only suited to round shaped toilets. We have a newer elongated/oval toilet and when I put the ring on there was a four inch gap in front of the seat. So I returned it the next day.
I love how this has a lid and may be used as a step stool. The weight limit is higher than other comparable potties so it could be used as a stool longer. I needed the lid so we could bring in the car. I tried the potty insert with my 2 year old for 9 months, but he was never interested. Then, in target he wanted a little potty so we got this one. I was going to put stickers on it, but he didn’t need that. He was excited to have a potty that was his size!!! Immediate interest took off and now he wants to go potty. For the first time, he pooped twice. I think the small potty gives them more confidence and stability. Better to have feet on ground for number 2. Even if he only uses this for a few weeks, it was worth it to me! By the way my child is 2 years, 9 months ... MoreI love how this has a lid and may be used as a step stool. We have been using this potty for over a year now. I was drawn to it because of the multi use feature (potty, step stool etc). My biggest issue with this potty is the fact that the splash guard is too low. I read this in previous reviews before buying but I ignored them and gave it a shot. I clean up pee off the floor every time my son uses it. Not just little splashes either. Puddles of pee. The splash guard simply isn’t high enough. If you have a girl I can see how this wouldn’t be an issue. If you have a boy, look elsewhere. Trust me.
Horrible for boys. Training is already not an easy or fun task but a toilet that doesn’t hold the urine when they do go in it is even more frustrating. I have tried everything with this. My son leans forward or he sits straight up - no matter what he does - unless I physically hold his part down - urine comes through the crack on the inside, waterfalls down the front of the whole potty (getting the back of his pants and undies wet) then puddling on the floor under his feet and under the potty. This potty is pointless for boys in my opinion. We have had it a year now and I constantly have to clean the floor and get my son new pants every time he goes. I am very disappointed I have to buy another potty as I was hoping he would grow out of somehow urinating in the crack but it isn’t happening. I am tired of doing extra laundry (multiple pants a day) and cleaning the floor several times. There needs to be something over the crack. Unless your boy urinates straight down or at a perfect angle up into the dome - you will be cleaning ALL THE TIME. I have given this a year of frustration and ruining my life - there is NOT a way to make this functional for a boy.
