Murad - Nutrient-Charged Water Gel

I've shopped at Beauty Affairs for a few years now without a problem, however last week my package was stolen- at the fault of the courier. I purchased around $200+ of skincare and was completely devastated when it happened, as I didn't think I would be able to get it resent or refunded because it wasn't Beauty Affair’s fault. I contacted them and to my surprise, they immediately offered to resend or refund my purchase, not only that but they included a gift! I have never had such exceptional customer service from any other company in my whole life! HOLY GRAIL MOISTURIZER!!

I had started using Neutrogena water gel moisturizer and I liked it until I tried the Murad nutrient charged water gel and I was blown away literally Blown Away by how amazing this gel is! it has a very light Rose lilac scent that is Pleasant very faint and it goes away right after it's absorbed so it's not a heavy scented gel and it is the consistency of gel and it's cooling on your face and it absorbs quickly without greasy fingers or greasy feeling on your face! and the hydration is without equal and I have tried every type of moisturizer for my sensitive mature skin from drugstore brand to The highest-end Prestige brands. it also seems to blur the look of Fine Lines and leaves your skin looking smooth and beautiful after each use! I just turned 54 and my skin has very few wrinkles or sagging and I attribute that to the Murad products I have been using consistently and religiously! I have are there Murad products that also are the best I've ever used including their spot acne treatment because even at my age you occasionally get a blemish and this gets rid of it without the flaking and drying of other acne treatments! Dr. Murad was a genius of skin care! I just literally cannot say enough about this product or any Murad product! If you're on the fence about trying this it is so worth the price a little goes a long way so don't use a lot at first go easy with it and find your perfect amount from there. One 1.7 ounce jar lasts me quite a while and I use it twice a day regularly and religiously! it goes great under makeup and makes Foundation look so much smoother sometimes I don't even use a primer because my skin looks so nice I often don't even go without any foundation just this moisturizer! I realize this is a very long review I generally don't leave many reviews but I feel very strongly about this product it is amazing just amazing! It is well worth the money and I assure you, you will be more than pleased with your purchase!!

Holy Grail Moisturizer for Combo Skin

This moisturizer is everything! I have dry/combo, acne prone and sensitive skin. It hydrates my skin without breaking me out and feels amazing. It has a "slip" similar to primer, so I don't need to use primer under my makeup anymore.The formulation also has multiple peptides and ceramides towards the top of the ingredient list, meaning I don't need separate products to include them in my routine. I hope Murad never discontinues this! I'm on my 4th jar and won't be straying anytime soon.

Lightweight, but it flakes off

I use Murad products regularly. I took one of their quizzes online and this product was recommended. Well, I saw it on sale one time and purchased it @ulta. As someone who regularly exfoliates, I expected this to drink into my skin, but it just sat. When dry (I usually wait 10 mins before applying makeup) it flakes off when I start to put on my foundation. So, I tried an option where I washed my face, patted dry, then just put this on with no other Murad serums beforehand. Still dry/tight and flakes off. I have combination skin and wanted something lightweight and stuck with the Murad brand of products but this was a no.

Okay, I am the girl who changes facial moisturizers every time I reorder anything because I get bored or my face stops loving it. I started using a new moisturizing serum and I put my Murad water gel under the sink (no issues with Murad, was just a victim of click bait). After finishing that moisturizer (and not loving it) I reached back for my Murad. I forgot how much I absolutely LOVE it. I have very dry skin on the creases around my nose, but oily everywhere else. My skin feels SO good for the first time in months and I am so glad I pulled it back out. It's expensive, but I am reordering now. It's silky smooth, smells delicious, and lasted me about a year.

New favorite

I’ve been interested in this moisturizer for a while now but held off on purchasing it because of the price and not knowing if it would work for my oily skin type. However, it was half off on Ulta’s website a few weeks ago so I decided to give it a try. BEST DECISION EVER! This stuff leaves my skin feeling plump, hydrated, but never greasy. It has a silky texture and it absorbs quickly. And, I’m actually noticing a difference in the lines on my forehead which no serum, treatment, or moisturizer has ever been able to touch except this one. Not Great

I went into my local Sephora intending to buy a different moisturizer that I had used and liked previously. The sales lady talked me into trying this instead and I’m always open to new products. I swatched it on my hand and the gel consistency felt pretty nice. I also didn’t notice the fragrance so much in the store so I went for it. Once I started using it at home I realized the scent is pretty strong. It’s not a bad scent but it’s just stronger than I like and lingers for a while. My biggest complaint however is that I simply didn’t find this to be moisturizing at all. I used it everyday for about a week and halfway through the day my face would feel dry and like I didn’t put on anything, and was getting flaky around my nose. Not Moisturizing Enough

Lately I’ve been having extremely dehydrated skin and hoped that this gel would help repair my moisture barrier. Generally I have combination skin that is very acne prone. The only positive was that this did not break me out or cause milia (where plenty of other moisturizers have). That said, for my very dehydrated skin this was nowhere near moisturizing enough - after applying at night, my skin would feel extremely tight by morning. I found the moisturizing effects to be very similar to drug store moisturizer (like Cerave Daily Moisturizing Lotion), which was very disappointing given the high price point. Ulta thank you for Murad water gel!

Honestly, the Murad water gel is that good that I want to thank Ulta for having a sale on it or I probably would never have tried it. I have never liked rich moisturizers because they seem to sit on my skin and feel oily. Even at my age, I struggle with oily and dry combination skin. After breaking up with a different skin care line, I saw an Ulta add for this and decided to try it, Murad had never been on my radar before, especially since I was using department store skin care lines, My skin hasn't felt this smooth in years. It really feels like a miracle, my pores look smaller and my skin feels hydrated and soft. I really love it as my nighttime moisturizer, now I'm hooked on pretty much the entire Murad line. This gel is amazing.

Very nice light moisturizer

I got this for half price during one of the daily deal sales and I love it. I have combo skin and this hydrates nicely without feeling heavy or greasy. It plumps my skin quite a lot which I love, but I did learn to use sparingly, I tried to put on a thicker layer one night and it pilled off my skin a bit so just be sure it all absorbs. I think it would even have been worth the money for me at full price, this jar has lasted me just over a year so far and it still has some left. It has a light scent, which I really like but may be irritating to some. Overall, I would recommend this to someone who wants plumping light feeling moisture.
