Murad - Revitalixir Recovery Serum

If you’re having suspicions and questioning the legitimacy of this website, then look no further!!! This was honestly one of the best beauty online retailers I have ever shopped from. Plus YES ITS A LEGIT SITE! I live in NZ and my order was placed, processed and delivered to me in less than 5 days. I absolutely love my items and would definitely be a regular customer. If you shop at Sephora or Mecca then you will definitely love Beauty Affairs!

I've shopped at Beauty Affairs for a few years now without a problem, however last week my package was stolen- at the fault of the courier. I purchased around $200+ of skincare and was completely devastated when it happened, as I didn't think I would be able to get it resent or refunded because it wasn't Beauty Affair’s fault. I contacted them and to my surprise, they immediately offered to resend or refund my purchase, not only that but they included a gift! I have never had such exceptional customer service from any other company in my whole life! They’re very friendly and get back to you straight away (given it is within working hours) the pack it and send it and I honestly receive it the next morning! I'm definitely a fan of Murad products so with my dry skin, I was hoping this would be great for those extra dry days and after exfoliating treatments. I'm currently down to the last little bit of it. Packaging is a nice glass bottle with a pump and twist top to keep it fresh. The formula contains Hyaluronic Acid , Glycolipids , Lecithin , Chamomile and Arnica-these promote moisture retention, improve the skin barrier, and soothe and prevent dry and flaky skin. This is the first serum that I apply after my toner night and day. This absorbs nicely without feeling sticky and works well with all of my other products. I honestly don't see much of a difference in my skin but it does feel soothing. For $67 for 1oz, it's not worth it. This soothing serum from Murad has been fantastic! It’s got all your usual goodies in there such as hyaluronic acid, chamomile, glycerin etc however this serum I specifically like to use after I have dermaplaned my face. It just seems to soothe and calm everything down. It restores all that moisture after removing all those dead skin cells from my face. I don’t know why the Murad soothing serum works better than say my Good Molecules or Inkey List serums? All I can confirm is that it just does!? It’s lovely! This stuff feels so good on my face! It’s designed to smooth out fine lines and wrinkles, hyper pigmentation, and sunburn. I don’t have sensitive skin, but I do spend a lot of time in the sun. It absorbs into your skin quickly and melts like silk. I have been using it with my handy micro blading tool to iron out my wrinkles. To be quite honest… I may need some starch for that job. You can’t blame a girl for trying. I’m so happy that I received a full size bottle with my subscription because it is not very cheap. I would recommend it though.

Oh my GOODNESS! This Serum has been an absolute lifesaver! It really helps with red, itchy dry skin! Definitely perfect for cold weather! It's light as water and just disappears into your skin. It contains Hyaluronic Acid which provides deep and long lasting hydration. It's really great to use after waxing, sun burns and while your skin is healing from procedures. It's incredibly soothing and Calming. The best part for me is that it reduces Redness and inflammation from my Eczema. It's an all around great product. It's a big pricey but not to bad. It definitely worth the purchase and the price! Just wow!

I started using this serum about a month ago and my skin is the happiest it's been in years. My skin tone is more even and oily areas are more balanced. You can use this around the eye area which is a win, the textures is light yet extremely hydrating and a little goes a long way. Jam-packed with skin-loving ingredients like Niacinamide and Caffeine. A great all-rounder serum.

Product = Great! Dispensing/Waste=Annoying!

Product wise I LOVE this on my skin but my problem with it is it really annoys me that about a month's worth of the little balls won't get sucked up by the pump; especially for the price of this. If you want to use it all and not waste product/money, you have to fight to dump them out and squish them in your hand which can cause the serum to go everywhere and leaves you with little purple things to dispose of. Super annoying and not efficient if you're looking to be quick with your routine. On principle, I'm going to say no to the recommendation but if you don't mind wasting or not getting your money's worth - the actual product really is great!

The best Niacinamide serum I've used

This is such a beautiful product. I love everything about it. First of all the packaging is amazing! So unique and it looks beautiful. The texture is perfect! you only need one pump to cover your face so the 40ml lasts a long time. I love serums that contain caffeine too. It really has helped with my under eye puffiness and redness over time. As I suffer from rosacea I was put off buying it at first because of the alcohol and fragrance in the product but I've never experienced any irritation from using it. It leaves the skin silky smooth. The only thing I hate with this product is the super high price. It really disappointed me when the price increased quite drastically recently.
