Mustela Cradle Cap Cream 40 ml

I had my first child a couple of months ago, so I didn't know what cleansing gel to use. I talked with my family doctor and she recommended me this product from Mustela because it is made mainly from plant based ingredients. I remembered that one of my friends used so many cleansing gels on her child and I was curious what she and her child liked. She told me that she regrets using other products because her child was used to the no-tear formula from Mustela and when she changed the cleansing gel, her child cried a lot - now she returned to Mustela. Taking into consideration the recommendations, I used this cleansing gel from birth. It helped me to delicately wash my child's hair, face and body. For a more hydrated and soft skin, I use this product with Nourishing lotion with cold cream, also from Mustela (my child has a dry skin). I also like the smell of this cleansing gel.

I digress, This product, and all others by this maker, are head and shoulders above the rest. Here's why: 1. The scent. It's perfect, heavenly and lingers on both of my kids until the next bath rolls around. I have actually found that their body heat intensifies the smell. 2. It cleans. It also lathers beautifully. Not to say that indicates it's cleaning (as I've been told it doesn't) but truth be told, I'm old school here. Good lather = good clean. 3. Rinses easily and leaves hair soft, shiny and tangle free. 4. It lasts. no pumps, just squeeze a small amount in your hand, rub your hands together and apply. Overall, run don't walk to grab this one and save money by ending your quest to find the perfect cleanser.

I purchased the entire set fir my newborn because I did love their products during my pregnancy. What a disappointment. The smell is sooooo strongggg! How is this not part of pafabens they are claiming to be free of? I did use their products on my baby few times just to see bad irritations shortly after. My pediatrician told me to discontinue it. I reached out to the company and was promised some samples of the products that are supposedly perfect for my very sensitive newborn. Few weeks went by and after few follow ups I got 3 samples in of the same exact product I complained about. Did reach out again few times. They did apologize and promised to make it right and the never replied or heard from them again. Babies to toddlers... it works

Our daughter has had reoccurring cradle cap since she was born. We have tried everything but she still gets small spots here and there which will pull the hair right off her scalp if you try to soften and remove it. So, we gave it a shot and this is the first time in 4 years something has cleared it up. As in we even gave it some extra time to see if by chance it would come right back and it didn’t. No more itchy spots that hurt anymore. This is the only stuff I will put personally (as a guy) gift to anyone who has a newborn other than a congratulations bear with a balloon and card.... because it’s made my baby girl’s life better. Just wished it smelled better because she does nothing but complain about it lol!

First off, the product arrived safely, intact, and well-packed. No damage in the box, no leaks either.Second, the product is effective. It's gentle on the skin, and although I'm not a fan of the scent, it has greatly improved the condition of my baby's skin. He has quite a mild cradle cap in his brows and scalp. I apply a pea-sized amount on his scalp half an hour before bath time, and just very small dots on his brows daily before his sponge bath. After 2 uses on the brows, the flakes were probably 80% gone. AS for his scalp, it's a bit tricky because the hair is longer, but there's far smaller area where the cradle cap used to be.40 ml would go a long way so you can use this for probably 2-3 months if used frequently which gives you a good value for your ... MoreFirst off, the product arrived safely, intact, and well-packed. Excellent!

Like any mustela product, this one is also great. it doesn't have a strong scent and it's easily applied. don't worry about rhe size of packaging because it takes only small amount to apply it evenly on the scalp of the baby. You should be aware that the manufacturer instructed to apply the cream in the evening and wash it in the morning with Mustela cradle cap shampoo.

Great and works

Excellent. The only thing that cleared my baby cradle cap.The cream is light and thin. Easy to apply directly to scalp with the thin nozzle and spreads well.Very gentle with no irritation.I don’t like the smell though.

Smells really bad

It works but the smell is unbearable! My baby's head stinks after using this and even after i shampoo her hair in the morning the smell is still there. I ended up using baby oil on her cradle cap and using a cradle cap brush/ comb during bath time which seem to work much better. No need to spend money buying this cream and i normally live the Mustela products!

This product is amazing!

My 4 year old still has the remains of some cradle cap on her scalp from when she was a baby. With long haired babies, it's a challenge to try to get rid of it all when they're young. I've tried multiple cradle cap products in the past, but they either didn't work well or they smelled very bad. The Mustela Cradle Cap Cream is an amazing product. It's not thick, and it applies easily onto the scalp, and it's basically odorless. You just rub it in and leave it overnight. It does make the hair a little oily looking the next day, but not near as bad as some products I've used. By the third application I saw a major difference on her scalp and noticed the cradle cap was breaking down and going away. It was amazing! Wish I'd had this for all my kids! Where has this been the last two years!?!?

My child has had cradle cap since birth and is 1 1/2 years old. NOTHING has worked well and not caused tears until this cream. I was using this company’s infant shampoo and a cradle cap comb to combat it. This didn’t give much progress and often caused tears as my child’s hair would get tangled and caught. I used this cream and it worked better than anything else on the market. It didn’t work in one application because my child’s cradle cap is thick and all over but I have confidence that this will finally help us after more treatments. Note that you put this cream on at night to sit on your child’s head and are supposed to use their infant shampoo to wash it out in the morning so make sure you purchase both items.
