I normally don't write 1-star reviews but this lotion caused such pain!!! My 2 month old had dry/chapped skin on his face so I decided to give this face cream a try. This is for "very sensitive skin" and can be used right after birth. When I applied a small amount of cream on his face ... he started SCREAMING IN PAIN for about an hour. I had to immediately wash it off his face and give him tylenol to calm him down. I would NOT recommend this item! Will be returning and reporting. If you do buy this, i would recommend trying some on your hand and/or face to see if it irritates you before putting it on your child's face :(

My baby had really bad baby acne at 2-3 weeks! I honestly didn’t know what to do it just kept getting worse!! I used this product along with the mustela no rinse cleaning water(I applied this first with cotton balls, then this cream) and I swear by these two products the baby acne left in 3-4 days!!!! Amazing product! I have all the mustela range and I wouldn’t try anything else!

The Mustela Soothing Moisturizing Cream has a lightweight formula and is fairly thin in consistency. It absorbs quickly into the skin and does a decent job moisturizing the skin. The best thing is that the ingredients contain natural components and there is no scent, which is something I wanted in a face cream for my baby. Another good thing is this can be used from birth and I wish I had this when my baby was a newborn. Since the consistency of this lotion is thin, the tube hole could have been smaller because the product comes out too quickly so I get more than I need. Also, this is better for mild dryness so it’s not something I would use for more chapped skin.

My baby likes it, he now has very clear and smooth skin. There is no scent at all which I really like. I have tried to use Cetaphil baby but it has a strong fragrance which I really hate in a baby product. The quality of this product is very good, the size is very fair for its price. The packaging I also appreciate, they put it inside a medium box enough to protect the product. The benefit of this product is very promising, so far I really like it, it is very gentle and suitable for baby's sensitive skin, whatever season you are in, I use it frequently, everyday.
Mustela is vey European for babies....it was good offer, I have very dehydrated skin, its really not visible as Im religiously putting tonic, hyaluronic, serum and than cream... So, you know I know. This has very good ingredients, its enough clean product, its has no specific smell, Im not sensitive but sure somebody sensitive can use it. It was winter so this cream wasnt enough for me, had to reapply it few times daily. Wouldn take it any more.
Two of my children had eczema so I really did not want my third itching & scratching so as soon as I saw the hint of dryness on his cheeks I thought I would try this. It seems a bit more natural that the emollients that I slap on the rest of us (diprobase, oilatum, doublebase). I also use coconut oil but this gets him rather greasy & then my clothes all greasy. Anyway, the pump on this face cream is good, dispenses nice small amounts, easier than a tube & screw cap, but I suspect will annoy me when the cream gets a bit low & I can't get the last bits. It's quite thick but absorbs well. It leaves a slight sheeny residue but I think that's what is desired when u have dry skin/ eczema & is probably because I put on quite a few pumps. When it comes to what I put on my children I’m incredibly picky. I really look over the ingredients and if I don’t know what something is I research it. Mustela products have been a brand I go too, as I trust their ingredients and effectiveness. My 6 month old has incredibly sensitive, itchy and dry skin. Her face gets really bad and this has been the best cream I have found for her. It goes on easily and doesn’t have a super oily or thick feel, yet provides good coverage. It only takes a very small amount so this tube has lasted me quite a while. It really seems to help her flare ups and calm her skin. For that 5, star from me!
Mustela soothing moisturizing face cream for babies is everything I was looking for, for my 15 month olds face! I was putting lotion on her face multiple times a day but her cheeks were still red, dried out and some times cracked which looked painful. I asked her doctor and she told me to just keep putting lotion on it so I've tried a few different kinds on her but nothing has worked like mustela soothing moisturizing face cream. Her cheeks are still red after using it for a little over a week but they haven't been dried out and cracked. It feels light and clean when you put it on them, and it doesn't leave behind a sticky or oily residue. Mustela soothing moisturizing face cream is fragrance free and is safe to use on your newborn!

This is such a great lotion. My son has super sensitive skin and has been suffering from chapped cheeks. This lotion has soothed and healed his face so quickly. I am so glad it is super soothing and provided such quick results. It is hard to find a product that does not irritate him further. This lotion is a clear winner. I highly recommend this. I have been known to dab some on my face after my shower as well. It is a great product that anyone can use yet sensitive enough for a baby.
