The Tester pack with three sizes to trial is wonderful, especially if you have a fair honk like I do and are worried they won't fit, they do. Surprisingly I only needed the middle size unit and the fact you can adjust the item to fit makes it all the more effective. The item definitely provides greater air flow and contributes to reducing the snoring. On the second day I awoke it was evident that it had fallen out. The only down side with the strips is that you want to take them off during a shower. I was in a semi state of shock when it would not budge at all and i was forced to read the instructions to find that warm/hot water would facilitate removal. So there you have it. Both work, one goes on top, one goes inside.

I have tried lots of different solutions to keep the nostrils open, especially while sleeping. There's the self adhesive strips that attach to the outside of the nose - they work well, but not good for regular use as the nasal skin is very delicate. Then there are a variety of shapes of plastic inserts ranging from the flimsy to the heavy duty. I find the RhinoMed product is the right balance between too flimsy and too uncomfortable. I like that they are adjustable to ensure the right level of comfort. I have to say that I do use them many more times than the recommended 10 times per unit. My only criticism of the product is that they are a bit pricey. They come in a very smart box, which could perhaps be downgraded to cut costs and lower the retail price.

You have to remember this product only claims to reduce not stop snoring, I am a heavy snorter and it does appear to have helped, I got the pack of three variable sizes and I am still undecided on whether to continue with the medium or the large size. My snoring appears to be reduced but some nights it seems to be back to where it was, I think this is due to swapping sizes and not getting the device in exactly the right place every night. When you fit the device there is a little discomfort but then after a minute or so I forget it's there. I have used the individual devices more than 10 times and there seems to be no degradation so I'm sure you could wear them for more than the recommended 10 uses.
