I'm sooo glad I come across this brand! I found it in my local no frills store!! Its the best for cooking pasta dishes and making pizzas and it's not a only pasta sauce its just tomatoes sauce puree ...you can really use it for any cooking dishes and get a good use out of it! When I go to no frills I stock up on these! Coming straight from Italy 🇮🇹😍it's worth every penny! It's only $2.29 here in no frills Canada! Finally its here in 🇨🇦🍁Canada for my Canadian zzz!! Yeaaaahhh yall eh!!

The first ime I tried this brand was by accident. Hubby brought home the wrong brand. But I was no disappointed. This brand made a huge difference in my pasta sauce, for the better. Have never gone back to my old brand.

When I opened it and smelled it, I thought this sauce is just like all the others! Was I wrong.....It is 100 times better than all the others!!!! It is a The Best!!!!
Asked to try this for an Ocado review. Used it a sauce with meatballs and it was delicious. Lovely and thick. Couldnt really taste the basil but not detrimental. Only issue was the jar is so tall it wouldnt fit in the cupboard!
I was sent this product to review - however it was only after receiving that I read the labour abuse scandal hitting Mutto and Conserve (Cirio). Reviewing just the product I gave it 4 stars, good flavour and consistency but could do with a bit more basil but thats a personal taste. However if you care about where your products are sourced and how they are sourced then you may wish to avoid a Mutti product at this time.
I was sent this to review. I normally buy organic passata, though this one was very tasty, lovely and thick and fresh tasting. Not that basil-y though, as another review mentioned. I know nothing about the Mutti Cirio connection or enforced labour scandal, so can't comment on this side of things.
I'm italian and the taste of this tomato sauce is amazing, that's what i was looking for, just sauce without all the extra staf they put in the supermarket here in US. Everything came intact thanks to the really good packaging. Love it ciaoo!
Nice passata and basil is a good addition but does reduce it's uses somewhat; not so good in Mexican or Indian food. I will probably stick to the plain one. I am also concerned with what I have read about the company practises and will look into this further and it may mean I do not buy this brand again - a shame as their plain one is my favourite passata.
