Android auto works very well, BT integration is solid. Audio quality excellent. Having to connect phone to the USB jack on the rear of the deck for Android Auto to work was a pain though!

I purchased this head unit based off of some you tube recommendations, install was straight forward (mechanically) set up & explanation about Carplay is lacking, had to contact manufacture for instructions. I did get a reply & believe that things are sorted out.I did expect the Carplay display to be of higher quality, but perhaps it would be a distraction, so this could be a moot point. I also have never owned an aftermarket unit since the 90's so I am comparing this to my factory unit in my other vehicle. I miss a volume knob.

I am disappointed in this Headunit, not what i was expecting, can only get two screws in to mount it, ideally, i would like four and disappointed it needs access to a mobile phone for virtually everything, i thought gps was built in. I will either use different screws or drill extras.

No bad surprise, for the moment, everything works well. Thank's
In order to get it to save it's settings I had to swap the battery and ignition+ wires on my Toyota, which I did on the metra harness I was using so to save the parts that came with the head unit. I like the tactile volume buttons rather than capacitive. Overall it's pretty great, I wish the android auto would work from the rear USB. The front mic is nice to not have to mount am external mic if you don't want to (but you can). This isn't going to blow your mind but it sure makes my 94 truck a lot more modern and works well.
