We love this sauce and make peri chicken regularly. Wrap chicken breast(s) in bacon and scatter with grated cheddar. Bake for around 40 mins then add a good amount of this sauce over it all and continue in the oven for another 15 mins. Serve with deli coleslaw, chunky chips with peri salt and spicy rice!

Exceptional on chicken thighs or breast grilled on a barbecue.The Nando’s brand isn’t kidding about heat, though. If you think black pepper is adventurous you will not handle this sauce. I like medium but have many friends who can’t handle the heat. Their “hot” marinade is great but just on the edge of what’s comfortable for me. This “medium” Is 50/50 split between heat and flavor.Tip: Try making kabobs with this and some peppers and red onions.

I love, love, love this sauce. It's lemony, tangy, delicious. It's also very hard to find at decent prices. Walmart had the best price when I ordered it.This was my second time ordering it. The first time, it was packed really well, surrounded by bubble wrap. I was encouraged by this and ordered 6 bottles the second time. Unfortunately, this second time the bottles were thrown in a huge box with a few airpacks. The bottles broke, unsurprisingly. Thankfully, Walmart's customer service refunded me, but now I am hesitant to order this again.

Terrific condiment. Although 'medium' in heat, it's plenty spicy for me, and it doesn't take much. Great on scrambled eggs. I'm a sauce, condiment, marinade, spice, herb, oil, vinegar, etc. junkee, and this is bona fide delicious. It's not just hot sauce -- it's got a flavorful tang. I don't ever plan to be without this product in the future. I'm so glad my local Walmart carries it.
I make a peri peri chicken salad with jalapeño humous and drizzle this over. Makes it spicy loveliness and its reasonably low calorie. When its mixed up it makes it really yummy and I can easily eat the healthy stuff rather than getting bored.
I like a smaller bottle as I'm the only person in the house using it. It's exactly what you'd expect - a chilli sauce with lemon and a little garlic. Goes with everything. I'm someone who likes everything extra hot but I'd say this is a good medium level of heat, subjective as that is. Been buying it for years and it's always been consistent.

One of my favourite things about a Nando’s treat night out is the big bottles of delicious sauces. I love trying the different flavours and spice levels. After sampling all of them over the years, this medium spice peri-peri sauce is my favourite. It’s a classic; warm, tingly, tangy and a great consistency. It’s great as an accompaniment with chips, burgers, chicken or fried foods and I’ve often used it as a marinade for tofu, meats and vegetable skewers. What’s even better is that now I have the big glass bottle, I can pretend it’s Nando’s night at home!
