My 8 year old daughter enjoyed the 5 things you can do with this kit. Essentially, it is using citric acid and baking soda to make fizzing acid/base neutralizations. Included is red cabbage powder that is used as an indicator for if a liquid is an acid or base, which my daughter thought was really cool. Insctructions are clear and easy to understand.

This item I purchased for my 10 year old Grandson. I hope that he really enjoys experimenting with all the items in this package. He enjoys and is inquisitive about science so this should keep him busy in these winter months.
