My mom and grandma has been using this forever. They mostly divide it in half or in fourths. When they buy it in 50mg’s it will be cheaper and the container will hold longer. I have ME/chronic fatigue, and 50mg is too strong for me, even when I divide them in four. Zinc citrate is harder to digest than zinc glycinate, which would be the better choice for those struggling with ME/chronic fatigue/adrenal fatigue.

My integrative GP told me t hat zinc picolinate is the best absorbed zinc for 80% of people but in some people their zinc receptors do not work as well and they need to add zinc citrate (which is only absorbed 10-20% but it opens up the receptors so that more zinc picolinate can be better absorbed). This can only be determined with a zinc pathology test. As I continued to be deficient while taking the picolinate he put me on citrate as well. I chose this brand and now my zinc levels have increased and are perfect. This proves it is a quality product, confirmed by pathology tests. But beware! Zinc can take 18 months to increase and too much zinc is dangerous.
