This product was absolutely amazing. I have always had trouble looking for sunscreen just right for my skin and it ticked all of the boxes. It was good for my sensitive skin, it left my skin feeling soft and it didn't leave behind a greasy look like most sunscreens do. I agree somewhat with what Debbie Price says with it being good value for money but I just wish there were more of it. I have to liberally apply it throughout the day due to my work environment and skin conditions and this bottle just doesn't last as long as I`d hope. but all in all I love this product!

There are lots of things to love about this sunscreen. It’s SPF is 30 and as the label says it’s has deep moisturising ingredients. The back of the packaging also states that it is free from over 400 potentially harmful ingredients to you and the environment, which impressed me very much. These are ingredients like chemical UV filters, titanium dioxide, petrochemicals, PEGS, propylene glycol, mineral oils, phenoxyethanol, EDTA, sulphates, silicones, parabens, PABA and artificial fragrances and colours, which is marvellous. It’s also not tested on animals which is also a big plus.\nThe only reason why I give this sunscreen 4 stars instead of 5 though, is because I had to take a mark off for the white cast that it leaves my skin with. You can counteract this by wearing a darker foundation on the face but if you where to wear your regular foundation you will definitely be obviously paler. This goes for the body as well.\nAnother’s thing is, you must shake this product well before every use, there is a reminder on the back of the packaging, because if you don’t it tends to seperate and an oily residue comes out of the container first.\n When applied this sunscreen feels a little oily but it settles after I apply my makeup over it.\nI would recommend this product to everyone that loves a natural sunblock as the ingredients are fantastic but be prepared for the white cast.\n

The only difference between this and kids one is they added Glyceryl Isostearate and Polyhydroxystearic acid which kids one doesn't have. Thats why it leaves less white cast however greasier than kids one and other mineral sunscreen. I don't mind to use it because my skin is not oily. But I prefer kids one after all.

I am very careful what sunscreen I use as I don’t like putting chemical products on my skin. This is why I love the natural instinct range, it’s free from chemicals and nasties and is all natural, so that gives me comfort. This sunscreen really lasts well, I use it before swimming and never burn as it lasts several hours. It spreads really well with a nice creamy consistency and sinks straight in, so really easy to use. It’s invisible so no nasty white pasty patches. It smells amazing, I love the addition of jojoba oil, Shea butter and vitamin E as it makes the sunscreen really hydrating and moisturising, it’s good for my skin. I tend to have sensitive skin and this product never irritates so it’s great for anyone who has sensitive skin. Best Sunscreen for Outdoor Activities
21 January 2021

I have only started using this sunscreen recently, and have been doing so for about 3 months now. It’s thick so you do need to shake well and rub it on skin well, especially for those with darker skin tones like me. It does leave a visible layer, but I don’t mind, I would suggest putting it on in the morning at least half an hour before going out so the layer has settled on skin a bit. I find that it does stay on until the end of the day for me, which means you might have to shower to get rid of any residue or you might leave feeling sticky. Overall though, this has been my favourite to use when doing outdoor activities like hiking or swimming or doing sports as I feel like it’s protected me well during the Aussie summer. As always though, always re apply if you’re out and about like what the label says.I alternate between this and the Wot Not which is my usual go to on a normal day, which I feel is a thinner formula, and I use that more if I’m not going to be outside a lot anyway.

Drastic white cast, runny uneven consistency
10 October 2020

This sunscreen advertises "invisible" cast but has an extremely drastic almost blue-ish white-cast on my moderately light skin, even for a pure zinc sunscreen. Alongside the oily consistency, this encourages is problematic as it encourages underapplication of the product which means you do not get the advertised SPF protection. The labelling suggests you shake before application - this is extremely important, as otherwise the white zinc particles separate from the transparent oils/glycerin/liquids. Even with shaking, the zinc does not seem to be properly dispersed in the liquid base, leading to patchy flecks collecting around pores, on top of a blue-ish, oily base: this doesn't exactly inspire confidence in the ability of the zinc to form a UV protective film on ... MoreThis sunscreen advertises "invisible" cast but has an extremely drastic almost blue-ish white-cast on my moderately light skin, even for a pure zinc sunscreen. Great for sensitive skin
16 December 2019

This sunscreen was recommended to me after the roll-on sunscreen I normally use for my son was apparently ‘stinging’ his face one day.It is very white initially but rubs in well, and my son has had no ‘stinging’ since using it. It can get a little messy when applying but it’s easily sorted with a couple of hand wipes, and I’m happier knowing the ingredients are all natural. Most importantly it seems to protect better than what we were using before.

Horrible sunscreen - waste of money
25 November 2020

I bought this sunscreen because they had run out of my usual zinc sunscreen. I wasted my money as I can't use this. It is definitely not invisible, I agree with a previous reviewer in that it appeared blue on my skin! Even though I shook it prior to application it must have separated as it felt like I had applied a layer of grease to my skin, then finished it off with a layer of dirt. The dirt also transferred to the steering wheel of my car. I could not wait to get home and wash it off. I am a regular user of sunscreen (3+ applications per day) and have tried lots if different ones, this is hands down the worst one I have ever tried. Can't believe it costs $20.

Not greasy, nice and smooth but not buying again
10 January 2017

It does apply somewhat white and needs to be rubbed in, and can still have a somewhat white residue in places. I didn't mind this on my body when outside on 30 degree days and at the beach, but for everyday use and on my face reasons I would look for a different product. There is a scent but its really not that bad (however my primary aged siblings were turned off by it). Its not greasy which was my main concern with sunscreens, soaks in well/dry finish. I want to find a sunscreen without the white reside and scent. I'd however recommend for beach/outdoor sports use, it works great and I never got burnt.

Wouldn't purchase again
20 December 2017

I purchased this at Priceline because I didn't want to use chemical sunscreen anymore. It's good for the price and nice packaging. I'm finding the sunscreen to be really runny, not sure if that is because it's been super hot but that's not the big issue. I don't like how this spreads, I shake the bottle beforehand but always find the cream to be grainy, so I'm always left with tiny balls stuck to my skin. I don't like the feeling of this after it's been rubbed in either, my hands feel extremely chalky/dry afterward. I also agree with what others have commented in that this leaves a whitish hue especially on my face, not good when I'm already so pale. In terms of protection it does its job, but I find I have to apply more frequently than regular sunscreen (then ... MoreI purchased this at Priceline because I didn't want to use chemical sunscreen anymore. Overall not the best start to my transition, and I will shop around for another natural sunscreen.
