This is simply the BEST fish oil for me. I tell you, after finding this product on iHerb (at a wonderful price) I never have to look again for fish oil. I will be buying this from iHerb as long as I need fish oil.Also my ophthalmologist doctor recommended 2000 mg per day of good fish oil with plenty of DHA and EPA (which of course this has) because I live in a dry environment. Clinically "dry eyes" are a common problem here. I did not know this but I have used fish oil before so I am quite familiar with it. I have been taking this Deep Sea fish oil product for a few years and like it. For one teaspoon hascontains 650mg EPA & 450mg DHA, it's good for my mother in her 70's, she has no heart or cardiovascular problems, no cognitive issues. I like this product it has no fishy taste, very good quality, and good price.

I prefer this orange taste to the lemon taste(of a different brand). While the taste is a little strong, it does not linger for too long. There is a bit of a peppery aftertaste to it, something to note if you don't like spiciness. My children, 5-7, like the taste. I mix it in their yogurt.I do wish the bottle had some kind of spout attached to catch any drips. When I first opened there was what seemed to be some sort of a spout, but it looks like it is a seal for the cap.Seems like a quality product!

This brand of omega-3 fish oil is a good value. A higher rating would be merited if not for the fact that the product contains a proprietary additive that settles as a thick sediment at the bottom of the bottle. The additive has the character of coarsely ground ginger root and citrus zest that has marinated in the fish oil. Per instructions, shake well before use, and the dose is sure to contain a liberal amount of the slimy sludge that invokes a definite gag response when swallowed. Be prepared to use a chaser. Prior generations of this product had a more finely disbursed additive that was not so objectionable. Since it's a good value it may be worth decanting the oil from the sludge and accepting that part of the purchased volume is wasted.
After buying this for my dog and having the dog refuse to touch it because it didn't taste like fish, I decided to try it. The dog was right! It tastes like orange, without a hint of fish flavor. The beauty of that is there are no "fish burps". I also like the fact that the oil comes from fish that are plentiful, not from over-fished species like salmon. 1 serving gives you a generous amount of omega 3s. I have been recommending this product for years for my patients with dry eyes.
I buy this product for my mom. It's my 10th bottle. This product has good quantity of EPA/DHA with orange flavor. Price / quality ratio is one of the best on Iherb for Liquid Fish Oil. The bottle is made from glass, the liquid has good consistency. I definitely recommend this product.
I can't evaluate its effectiveness in such a short time, but I will not buy it again. First, the dose is 1 teaspoon daily and I find it impossible to pour out a teaspoon (or any amount) without it dripping down the side of the bottle. There is a reason every bottle of olive oil has a the little plastic pouring insert. ITS OIL. But gee, it might add 3 cents to the cost of the bottle. Second it may be natural flavor, but I mix it with my fresh orange juice in the morning and it makes my juice taste artificial. A personal thing I guess, but I don't like it. So, I can't recommend it.
fish not identified but a mix of ingredients. quality it says saturated fat? is omega 3? shd be good if before use by date -age is important for freshness - so iherb should sell items way before expiry. well packed. bottle. packaging was good. value for money benefit if the quantity is better than capsules. saturated fat is a worry for cholesterol? is this correct? or a bad source of fish oil? orange oil does not improve taste.
