This keeps my husband's iron stable. he is always running low due to one of his meds. This works quite well.
I've only been using this for two weeks or so. It is definitely easy on the stomach. As for a noticeable improvement in health, it's too early to tell. Asking for a review so quickly is not sound strategy at least a full month or two makes more sense.
Relatively mild iron taste, and a fairly small smooth shape that is easier for me to swallow than many pills and tablets. It is Ferrous Gluconate rather than Ferrous Sulfate. A few people have problems with sulfates. So it is great that there are iron supplements that do not have sulfates.
I was told to get ferrous GLUCONATE because it would be absorbed better. I have been very happy with the cost. I was told to take it with Vitamin C to get the best absorban. My blood tests have shown a dramatic increase since I started Nature's Blend Ferrous Gluconate.
Ferrous Gluconate is much easier on the stomach than Ferrous Sulfate, as my Pharmacist father told me when I was younger. So I have always purchased it. Pills are round and relatively easy to swallow.
My husband has purchased from you for years - when the brand of Ferrous Gluonate we were getting for a friend was discontinued - he suggested I check out Swansons - the doseage is really difficult to find at local stores - Hooray - now her iron supply as a proven source - so pleased! Will look to Swansons for more of her OTC needs.
