I used to use NeliMed dry noses spray gel. At one point a few years back they started using parabens as an extra ingredient. I am very allergic to parabens. They give me a specific burning sensation and reaction. I stoped using it for awhile, due to that fact. Then I went back to using it again. Was fine for a couple of years. All of the sudden a new bottle batch and the same reactions, again. NeilMed in my opinion is consistently inconsistent.

I first used this product two winters ago when my nose became dry, inflamed and crusty. I was desperate for something to help heal my nasal mucosa. Neil NasoGel was the only product that worked. That is because the gel stays in your nose where it works its magic.I have been using it ever since, winter and summer. It helps keep my nose moist and healthy in winter and helps keep my allergy under control in the spring and summer. I will never need anything else while I have NasoGel at hand.

If you suffer from dry nose because of dry air issues in your region. This is a good product to counter dry air issues. It feels great when you apply a few squeezes. The liquid is not like water, but a thicker consistency. The liquid is odorless and gives out no scent. The only issue I have with use is the fact that instead of a spray effect it is more of a squeeze in order to get the product inside your nose. So please be careful when squeezing the product into your nose.

I love this product. It has greatly reduced my sinus problems.I suffer from sinus infections on a regular basis, so I have been using a nasal rinse for a few years. Typical complaint for me is a dry nose, or air travel, or minor head cold, which leads to a a dry nose, which then allows the sinus inflammation to start, and a full on sinus infection ends up being the consequence. The Neti-pot system helps relieve the symptoms, but I haven't had to use it after using this product.I have found that this is not too unpleasant to use (if you use a neti-pot, then you know what I mean), and alleviates the nasal dryness when used. During air travel (17 hour flights) I used this every 2+ hours, and didn't have any infection after the travel (I tend to get an issue 2 out of 3 flights) and I avoided the discomfit of dry nasal passages. I also use it when I have a slight head cold - it seems to allow the bodies' own natural defences to mobilise and a full on sinus infection is avoided (I use about every 4-6 hours). It is not the most pleasant thing to use (it seems to squirts a thin jet into the nose, rather than a mist), but I have now bought a second bottle, and if you are a sinus infection sufferer like me, I would recommend it to avoid having to see the doctor. Would recommend.
I have had a SEVERELY dried out nose for months. I thought this would help me but I think it has too much water in it and didn't adequately moisturize but made me feel drier. I found a humidifier at night helped much more than this. However, I think for allergy and cold sufferers it would work fine - I just started out with some serious dryness in my nose.
This product is great and I CANNOT find it at most of your stores. Thank goodness the store I purchase it always has it stock. Really helps with dry noses. It is the best product. Please keep it in stock at this store. Thank you.
LOVED the older version of the product. I have been buying in bulk from Vitacost since it is more cost effective. The spray gel really helps with keeping the nose bleeds down to almost none. I just ordered more last week, and I tried one of the new ones that were just delivered. My nose immediately burned for a few seconds when applying the spray gel. I tried a few more times over the day -- same result. Checked the ingredients: NeilMed reformulated and added as preservatives Methylparaben and Propylparaben. All the other ingredients are the same as the old product. Obviously these 2 new ingredients are issues for me. NOTE that the old box package has RED strip at the top (where you see Drip Free Spray, Sodium Hyaluronate, for Nasal Dryness, Aloe Vera on the 4 ... MoreLOVED the older version of the product. The new package top strip is dark blue (almost navy). I am going to contact NeilMed. For me, the product is ruined and unusable. I just requested a refund from Vitacost for 9 of the unopened/unused packages (thank you). I will have to "eat" the one I opened 2 days ago. VITACOST: You will need to check your inventory on this product and if you have the reformulated one, you will have to update the ingredients to add the 2 preservatives NeilMed added. Folks considering this product, be warned! You might end up with the same reaction I did. I am unhappy NeilMed took a great product that worked for me and made it unusable in my case.
