Both me and my son suffer from Eczema and Kerotosis Polaris, we have to be very careful what we use on our skin. I have been using Neostrata products since 2007 and I am always so happy with the results. The use of the PHAs instead of AHAs helps us treat our issues without triggering others. As soon as my son's KP starts to get red and inflamed, I put this on him and I swear to you, 24 hrs later it is virtual gone. Since he's 4 and always on the move it is very hard to get him to sit for multiple applications, so I am glad this is incredibly fast acting. For anyone who has concerns over the price, You get what you pay for. While a less expensive product may work just as well, it takes us longer to get results and I have to apply it a lot more often.

A Poor Replacement for Body Smoothing Lotion

Since the company was sold to Johnson & Johnson, it seems that so many of the wonderful NeoStrata products have been reformulated .... and not for the better. I have used these products for 25 years and told everyone I met how wonderful they were. And my skin proved the point. Now I've tried a few of the new ones and, unfortunately, I've had to abandon this line of products. The Body Smoothing Lotion, for instance, was a great exfoliating lotion. Only a small amount was needed; it absorbed quickly and was almost odorless. This new version is sticky, hard to apply evenly and has a foul odour. I'm so disappointed in not only this, but all the reformulated NeoStrata products.

Gentle and effective exfoliant!

I've been hearing a lot about the benefits of polyhydroxy acids in skin care. I decided to try this lotion as an additional exfoliant. I use a retinol at night and use this lotion in the morning, under sunscreen. After approximately three weeks I'm very pleased with the results. It removes flakes from the retinol, evens and brightens my skin tone, and has reduced the freckles on my chest and legs. It has a nice smooth texture and is a medium-weight lotion. Applied to damp skin, it absorbs within minutes. My skin is left smooth and moisturized but not feeling greasy or sticky. It does not have fragrance which is great, it doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. I am SO glad I tried this product. I will definitely order this again!

Pretty straightforward. I've had many comments that my facial skin looks good for my age and I attribute it to Neostrata Restore Bionic Lotion (and partly to good genes.) I thought that at one time this lotion contained sunscreen but as I read the label today I saw that perhaps it doesn't. Reading the descriptions of the various Neostrata products it looks like it could be time to try a different Neostrata face lotion for age spots, but at this point I have a year of Bionic Lotion left, so that experiment will have to wait. Also I don't wear foundation -- only a bit of concealer -- but on special occasions I might use a tiny bit of foundation. (I do not use Neostrata Bionic Lotion on my body as it would be too expensive for me.) Try using Neostrata Bionic Lotion regularly for a year or so... I promise you will get compliments on your skin.

Mild sauce

I tried a NeoStrata PHA sample (a different product) from LovelySkin and enjoyed it enough to want to try out NeoStrata's PHA body lotion. I bought this for face and body to address dry, flaking winter skin. The lotion is hydrating so long as I can feel the film of it on the skin, but it does not offer longer term hydration once it skins in. It also did not exfoliate well enough to address skin flakiness. Even with continued use, my skin looked and felt the same before application and after the lotion wore away. This lotion was, at least, very gentle. I never observed stinging, discomfort, or redness when using it. I likely need to try something more occlusive or stronger from this line to get a better match for my needs.

NeoStrata Bionic Lotion 200ml

I have been using this Bionic Lotion for quite a few years now. It is an effective, deceptively light-textured cream which I use only on the face and neck/below neck. I did try the Bionic Face Cream once, but found the Lotion to be the better product for my dry, mature skin. It also provides a ver good base fir foundation or sun screen.

Smoothing lotion

I love Restore bionic lotion. I have very sensitive skin and mild rosacea so need to be careful with products. This has mild polyhydroxy acids which don’t irritate my skin and do a mild exfoliating too. I Only use in evening as I think twice a day would cause me irritation. Like that I can use on face and body. Lovely texture, goes on smoothly and not greasy.

I received a free sample of this product from Neostrata with one of my purchases and decided to give it a try one night after I used a pore suction and microneedle roller on my face. Generally when I use these two things, my face gets very red and can stay that way for 2-3 days, but after I used this lotion that night, I woke up to no redness! It's a creamy lotion that really hydrated and soothed my skin. I used it every time after using either the pore suction or microneedle roller until I ran out of the sample. I think it would be perfect to use after having some sort of treatment done on your face. The only thing to look out for when using this lotion is that it is thick/creamy/soft and can leave your face looking slightly greasy. This works for me!

Been using this for over 2 months now and I've seen a big improvement. I have some KP on both my upper arms. I had been using a prescription cream from a previous dermatologist which was only mildly effective.The winter time was the best time to try NEOSTRATA because it's when my skin is at its worst. Bumps have begun to smooth and redness has disappeared. My skin is feeling smooth now overall and it appears under control. It's also been very easy on my skin. My previous cream sometimes made the area itchy.If you have KP. Give this a try. You really have nothing to lose. I recommend it highly.
